Syracuse is spicy hot garbage. And to think Barbers was on some preseason coach of the year awards lists. And Grosel is Tommy Rees. The difference from a throw game perspective is that Rees was throwing to a string of 1st or 2nd round TEs and WRs, while Grosel is not.

I hate Cuse and I'm happy for the players, but this performance probably cements another year of Daz.

I would be shocked if it doesn’t due to Brown going down. Honestly, if Grosel can continue to make throws and we can run the ball like this, then it will be irrelevant as we will probably end up with 6-7 wins anyway.

Apparently, according to BC stats, this is his 4th game and 2nd consecutive but idon’t recall seeing him out there.

Dillon and this OL with a credible passing game would be lethal.

Nothing better than taking Cuse behind the woodshed. Such a punk ass fanbase.

Yup, I hate their fanbase. Pretty typical for schools in the northeast though, outside of BC. UMass is really bad, but they suck.

Feel like moving one of the failed corners to safety like Haynes would go a long way toward solving the speed deficiency.

Not a bad thought. Haynes would need to bulk up though.

The players should feel good with this bounce back performance.

Unfortunately we all just guaranteed Year 8 of Addazio

Grosel or Crane? Who would your rather have?

Crane by far especially in the spread.

Borgeson can't cover but as a screen breakup missle hes pretty good.

They're going to wear these guys out.

bajakian is actually a pretty good oc

With the noted exception of Fitch, BC has had very good OCs under Daz. I’d argue the same for DC... but Sheridan is Fitch-level bad.

Here’s why he really can’t use Brown going down as an excuse. We have only lost to Clemson in his absence. The 3 problem losses of Kansas, Wake and Ville all came with him under center.

I think he needs one more win to be safe. His seat is still pretty hot. But 6 regular season wins and Jarmond is probably not permitted to pull the trigger. But I am very happy for the players.

We all want him fired (albeit for very different reasons.) He is a horrible coach. I say he is horrible because his recruiting sucks. There are still some of you here acting like my daughter with emotional glass jaws who refuse to call out Daz's recruiting as the culprit because you are afraid to hurt the feelings of the players. The way I look at it, the hell with their feelings, they are each getting $250,000 scholarships. Give a grown boy a $250,000 education and he can be man about that. That said, this might be Addazio's best game day coaching season since he has been with BC. I mean 5-4 with this team, are you fucking kidding me? This team has less talent than even the 2015 team. The kicker kicks his kick offs out of bounds. They fuck up the extra point attempts. There is not a single player on the defense who will get a shot in the NFL. And on the offense, I can count on one hand the number of players with possible NFL talent (and two of them are running backs.) Addazio is beating ACC teams with a walk-on QB. That is damn good game day coaching.

Yeah if Addazio beats FSU at home (by scoring 50+ points running the ball) then he keeps his job. I am very reluctant to say that but it is what it is.

A bowl game and he’s safe for another year. He loses the next 3 and he’s gone. Nobody would be happy with 6 wins but the injured QB excuse and a game in December would ease that. Regardless of what the board thinks, the optics of firing a coach who made a bowl with their backup QB is not good PR.

BC set a school record with 691 yards offensively, averaging 9.2 yards per play. The Eagles' 496 yards rushing were the most ever allowed by the Orange. The previous record was 457, set by West Virginia in 2006.

And yet 496 rushing yards was good for only second place in BC’s record book.

Could have broke the record (only 22 away) if we wanted to but Daz decided to not put in Garwo (smartly) as he only has 2 games left if he wants to redshirt.

Garwo didn’t play. Levy and Strader got all 8 of the reserve carries.

Levy and Glines were supposed to get all of them but then they both got hurt if I understood Daz correctly in the postgame.
