Just limiting the assessment to QBs who've started or played significantly over the last decade, I would say the following QBs were worse: EJ Perry, Darius Wade, John Fadule, and Troy Flutie. And Anthony Brown is starting to look like he wants to join that group.

The sad part is Brown is way better than any of the backups. He’s also severely limited by stupid play designs

People put the teams struggles on the defense but the real reason is that Brown is terrible and a lot of our shitty playcalling, predictable offense, and anemic output is a result of him sucking some serious dick out there on the field. One in a blue moon he has a huge game and like Lucy with the football, I think this year will be different. But we will never take the step with him as QB. He is fucking awful. I’d rather see anyone not named AB in there. BENCH HIM.

Defense is young and has the potential to get better.
Brown has started how many years now? He’s not going to magically become a 70% passer, he’s a career 54% guy with limited mobility.

I guess that's probably true, but Valecce did have a Pitt offer which is respectable, and Johnson while a true freshman, had lots of offers. But if Grosel earned the backup spot, then I guess it's a bad situation.

More or less, 10 Rutgers defenders close To the line of scrimmage. On third and four.
Opponents have ZERO fear of Brown throwing the ball. How are Dillon/Bailey supposed to run against those type of fronts?

Palmer has no excuse. He needs to be better or someone has to take that spot. Hasn’t been good enough.
Defense collectively has been better second half though. Thank god.
