Ohio state fans are so fucking annoying. They talk so much shit about calling us a “turd of a program” etc. which makes no sense since there’s no reason to do so... we have zero history with them. I now hope we get Hafley and then they can go fuck themselves. Go badgers!

Fucking morons. Their head coach came out of our turd of a program as did their recruiting coordinator. Not a ton of brain cells in Columbus. Never have been.

Halftime adjustments by OSU were nice to see. 27-0 in the second half. Never a strong point for Addazio.

I don’t know much about Norvell. But, it seems like a bizarre hire. I’d have kept Taggart. If you aren’t going a figurehead with top staff, then how do you not go after a guy like Matt Rhule? Norvell is a guy BC could make a play for. How the mighty Noles have fallen.

Schiano is beginning to get his staff together. His first hire is one of the best recruiters around... Fran Brown from Temple.

I would expect final interview is today so it makes sense.
Everything on schedule for a Tuesday press conference.

There is zero chance the Leahy interview is the same day as the announcement. If Marty is done with his process and has his recommendation, I’d expect the Leahy interview to happen ASAP. That discussion does not to be during business hours.

The entire tOSU staff has immediately hit the trail to recruit. That’s where they are now. So, it is possible that a different OSU assistant flew in to meet with recruits in the area. Finally, why go back to Columbus? Why not fly directly from Indianapolis? Would make no sense to fly after midnight to Columbus to connect to Boston.

Was wondering the same. What time did that game end last night? That said, it would not surprise me if our new coach is meeting with Leahy today (I actually expect it is happening).

Get on the team plane, celebrate, say goodbye. There are reasons you could imagine. I agree, the new coach is probably in town meeting with Leahy today or tomorrow. That being said, I’m nearly positive it’s Hafley, and very pleased if it is.

Outright speculation - if Gunnell stays, BC could offer scheduling flexibility to a potential new coach with playoff obligations, and Gunnell has something to sell to recruits that be on the fence for being poached. The jet tracking has a lot of noise in the signal to draw any conclusions or even speculation.

Indeed - there's another scheduled flight to an airport just outside Cincy scheduled too around the same time (Fickell!). Idle speculation of flight plans is better than doing chores around the house....

Rhule will either (a) get the USC job after next season or (b) be a HC in the NFL in the next year or two. Another possibility is that if Lincoln Riley gets the Cowboys job, Rhule goes to Norman.
