It's official.... Daz has been hired by CSU. Multiple sources confirming it online.

Also, If money is an issue for the BC hire, then Daz getting hired as the CSU coach would simplify some of the math.

Good for Daz and good for us.

As a late addition, I put a photo of Bob Diaco down and my dog barfed up a sock.

Daz'll be decent to stabilize that program. Shame he couldn't beat them. I guess he's kinda 1-0 for them already

It's funny how some people are still carrying that Daz grudge. Blogboy has been retweeting all these negative things today about Addazio. At this point, who cares, it's over and done with. I dont blame him, I blame the people that enabled him during those last 4 years. Just sayin'.

We are probably going to be saying the same shit when Jarmond fucks up this hire as well. For example, Bielema (article on NESN) practically begging for a head coaching job and we will probably end up hiring some retread like Dana Bible as HomoJS suggested. I'm getting really annoyed at this point because I know the longer this shit goes on the worse off it's going to be.

This is simply what happens when your ex moves on before you do. It's an exercise affirmation that we are better off with out them.

I don't know a ton about CSU's team, but that 2020 schedule has 6-6 plus a bowl game written all over it

Four FBS gigs left to be filled:

Boston College
Fresno State
Memphis
New Mexico

Which one of these programs is not like the others?

This seems like a real reach....I would assume that his interest in the job was accompanied by a minimum of due diligence on his part. After all, all he needed do was consult Day about the environment here.

And then, if he still came in and made such a demand, he's a horse's ass and we are certainly better off without him, because something is missing in his rational thought processes.

I don't have a grudge with Addazio. I am just tweeting funny takes. I think it is a terrible fit for both sides. He would have been better off going on ESPN and waiting for UConn next year. This helps BC.

Makes me wonder if his buyout was practically nothing... Hard to go from making 7 figures to 6 figures.

He could always leave CSU after a year if Connecticut job opens up. He will surely win 7 games there (counting a bowl game) and can sell it as an improvement over this year's 4-8.

I wonder if he will target any current BC players. I'm sure there must be some of them who don't hate him.

I remember that from Sesame Street
Feminism: Eve eats ALL the apples, gives God the middle finder when He confronts her, and has the serpent serve Adam with an injunction ordering him to stay away from her AND to provide her food and shelter because he dragged her out of the Garden.

I'm happy for Addazio. I can't believe I'm defending Daz here because he should have been fired last year. I don't know how he'll do at CSU, but if your program is a trainwreck (like Rutgers or Uconn) Addazio is okay to at least get some semblance of winning back.

As for BC, I think it's a much better job now than it was seven years ago. The next head coach now has a new IPF and starts with a team that has consistently been around the middle of the ACC in terms of results. Also, is it just me or did we draw a much better bowl than all the other ACC schools with 6 wins?

I don't know all the NCAA rules on this, but I have to think that him going to Colorado State (as opposed to some other school in the east) lessens the chances of losing people. As many have said, Daz going to Colorado State is great for BC.

I'd be curious to know how much money from Addazio's existing BC contract is "voided" (if any) by Daz taking another coaching job after Jarmond termed him. I always figured you just get double checks (for years.)
