Holy Jesus. Kansas is terrible. Maybe not Howard/Holy Cross-level bad, but good God almighty they are putrid. If our defense didn’t suck, this would be over by halftime. Nice pursuit angles, guys. Stupid and under talented is a bad combo.

Side note, my kid’s Pop Warner coach played DT for the Howard team we destroyed a few years ago. Really nice kid. Was the captain of the team when they upset UNLV. He said the amazing thing to him about how badly they got destroyed—and he laughed about being the designated “buy game” for two games every year—was how terrible Troy Flutie was, even though he completed almost everything. “Dick,” he told me “You could have sat behind that line and completed any ten yard pass you wanted.”

The passing game really looks sketchy. Even the completions are shaky. Just can't get a good comfortable rhythm.

Also getting sloppy with penalties, at least 3 now.

Yes, kick the FG. Total lack of confidence in FG kicking. Gotta have faith and Daz does not. Cannot go for 1st down on all 4th downs while in scoring position. It's going to be tough later in the season when the schedule gets more difficult and going for it on 4th down when trying a FG is the best option.

I have no problem being aggressive. Had we kicked the FG and miss people complain that we should have gone for it. Should have been a first down but Brown threw a ball so bad not even Jerry rice would have caught it.
