I thought they had something in place along these lines to prevent a fake injury. Because VT got a free TO there, in advance of fourth and short.

Crowd was good for Labor Day weekend. (VTech traveled well)

Plenty of recruits in our section and they ended up rooting hard for BC

Brown had a very promising start - mostly good decisions - understands the passing tree
- very few bad throws - would like to see more play action and bootlegs.

Not a bad crowd for a Labor Day weekend; there were a lot of VTech fans. The student section was as packed as I have ever seen it mid way through the 1stQ but then half of them left at halftime.
Great weather for the game.

Other than Clemson and ND, none of our opponents have a QB and RB as good as AB and AJ. Any decent coach would win 10 games with this schedule. The offense is so predictable it will cost us a few wins. Can we please at least run from a spread formation and have some motion to get the defense to move around? BC should have scored 49 points today. Even in the first half after a long pass into VT territory, Daz runs up the middle 4 straight times and turns the ball over in downs!

I’m glad they won, but I just feel like the ole kick in balls in coming soon from Daz. Either Wake or RU could be this years Purdue.

It wasn't perfect, but I'll take it. AB performed better than expected.

Addazio is now 4-3 against VT. Probably the highlight of his resume, but obviously VT has been going through some down times over the last few years.

Good win. Brown looks like a legit QB. I am glad they have cut him loose with Dillon not what he was his freshman year.

Mutryin's post-game tweet said that 30 guys on defense played throughout the game. Guess some true freshmen played? Solid job by AB in the passing game. He really manu-factor-ed a lot of offense in the 1st half.

Loved the 20+ minute highlight ACC DN put up.

Brown was a plus, as he has shown he is maturing. Flowers can be a freak if they exploit him properly. Dillon was a bit of a mystery. Seems they really have some nice pieces to play with IF they mix it up properly.

They are obviously trying to find the right pieces on defense, and hopefully the light early schedule will help sort that all out.

VT obviously has some issues, and frankly likely would have had the W but for turning the ball over. But BC beat an FBS and league opponent game 1, so its a good start.

Maybe most troubling is that you can change the OC, but retain that same, lame gutless late game regressive play calling. I guess its what makes Addazio addazio, that is take the game to the fourth quarter, where, as he once said, he has the best chance to win with the defense on the field.

I sincerely doubt it’s Addazio on the headset over ruling Mike, but we’ll never know
