Two things: We are better than Va Tech. Faster, stronger and better athletes. Won’t guarantee a win, but I don’t think I’d ever see a day where we were clearly more athletic than Va Tech, but here we are. Second, Herzy is not yet good at this color commentary gig yet, but I am enjoying his homerism.

Although too early to say but Daz may have lost confidence way too early in the season with the FG kicking with the earlier miss. Should have tried a FG on the 4th and 1 which they failed to convert.

I have missed BC football on Saturday afternoons and the aggravation that comes with it. I have not missed the BC band playing those same songs over and over.

Haynes reminds me of Sebastian last year. I mean that as a compliment and am hopeful he will progress as the season moves forward. Palmer reminds me of Palmer last year. I do not mean that as a compliment.

This should be a win.

Some penalties and bad luck (browns helmet coming off) killed some drives but plenty of positives on offense. bailey has shown some good carries, flowers is a baller, brown has looked decisive and fairly accurate. Only thing missing is Dillon taking the game over but that might be coming 2nd half If VT decides to respect our passing game.

Shocking Dillon only has 45 yards on 13 carries. ESPN shows BC currently 85.2% likely to win.

Let's see if VT adjusts to the throw game and Dillon starts breaking some runs. Need a stop early here to keep momentum with VT getting the ball first.

It’s not on Dillon that he’s only getting the ball up the middle on obvious running plays. It’s egregious. That first possession play calling was maddening. Sets up a super short field.

Defense keeps making the big plays. If the LBs can start sniffing those broken play QB runs VT won’t have any sustained drives. Dad needs to let Brown keep airing it out and running a bit.

The D is gassed. They made big play after big play. Came up empty too many times after those first two great stops on that drive. Willis is playing better and the VT receivers aren’t dropping anything. They are not going to just go away.
