If the class ends up having 25 recruits, with only two or three being 2* and the rest are 3* only, I'd have no issue with it.

If we’re being honest the ratings this year are going to be worse than usual because there haven’t been spring camps and there may not be the summer camps where these kids play against other P5 recruits and get evaluated by the services. More than ever, this year is about the other offers they have. The bottom of this class is shaping up to be light years ahead of the bottom of any of Daz’s classes while the top won’t be quite as good (if things continue as expected)

But I'm sure you recognize that a BC offer doesn't result in the recruit getting a one-star boost. Look at the offer list for each recruit, and when you do that, so far it's better than recent classes. Overall, I do agree this class will not match the average SEC class or the top programs in the ACC (Clemson, FSU, Miami, and at this point, UNC).

Just missing a headliner or two and this class is up there with some of Dazzler's best (I'd argue that was the 2015 one).

Mostly because recruiting rankings are a really dumb way to look at it, always has been. But that broken record isn't worth revisiting. Daz was a good recruiter, no one really arguing with that.

Besides the tough time rating systems will have with no camps, I really think this will be one of Hafley’s lower rated classes while at BC. Once he gets his legs and has time to sell the campus too, he will start pulling a number of 4* each year, especially in the defensive backfield.

Higher floor and ceiling from Daz for sure.

On top of what’s already been said about recruiting rankings meaning nothing in this class your talking about the average ranking which is only so low because of the fact the composite has 3 of the commits not ranked yet. If you do the math the average of the ranked commits is 85.23 not counting the kicker because they don’t rank kickers the way they should. So the class is slightly lower compared to 2020 but higher compared to 2019 and 2018. Considering there are a lot of bigger names left on BCs board you’d expect that 85.23 to go up. Either way this class is much better then any of the previous Daz classes based on offers which is what anybody should be looking at in this cycle.

The kicker and the Serbian kid are screwing the average.

What would the average be without the kicker and the Serb? The other really important factor that is not listed in any class is transfers. Recruiting both incoming freshman and transfers is all about building a roster. When you add in the QB and WR transfers to either 20 or 21 classes they would get a huge boost. BC has a huge need at QB and I would argue that landing Jourkvic significantly boost the recruiting class.

Go Eagles!

Daz's early teams had a lot of talent. The version I watched last year (especially on defense) was completely devoid of talent.

He also can't recruit and develop a QB or Kicker to save his life.

Yeah saw that too. Position of need as well, can def get bigger by RSing. iirc, Kiwi didn't weigh all that much when he arrived on campus, but bulked up eventually.

I thought there was still another unrevealed guy from a few days ago as well, no? Or did that end up being Hess? I can't keep up with these getins where the kid doesn't tell anyone.

The two “get-ins” from today are the only ones outstanding.

Someone on twitter (I forget who so take it with a grain of salt) suggested the last two commits might not be public for a few weeks.

Another crystal ball / name to keep an eye on, Elijah Fuentes from Cardinal Hayes in Bronx ... 6'3/260 DT with offers from Cuse, Rutgers, Wake and Duke (not sure if hes one of the commits from yesterday or not)

Neto Okpala from Georgia is also trending towards BC on 247, 6'3 DE with no major offers beside Vandy
