This is the second recruit in the class from Alabama. Let that sink in.

This is fake news. Sweet Claude’s isn’t even the best in the area. Drive 5 more miles and hit Wentworth’s in Hamden. Far superior. Then the Rich Farm in Oxford. Dairy barn at UConn is legit if you can stomach the natives. I’m not sure Claude’s is even in the top 10.

There's a better chance of success with unknown players from football hotbeds than the 10th ranked player from Mass. The HUDL video is super impressive for whatever that's worth.

We offered Arkansas St commit Jaylen Blackwell earlier this week. He is listed as a safety. Among other things, this tells me that we have a have a few guys in this class enrolling in January. Who? I hope Wallace does. I did see that McGowan was planning to but now may not because he think s his team will be playing football in the spring.

HJS {l Wrote}:Jim Harbaugh is 9-4 over the last three years coaching a roster of his recruits. To accomplish that lofty record, Harbaugh had to steal the #1 overall QB recruit off of the Ole Miss roster. It amazes me that Michigan fans are content with 4 annual losses while pairing these Top 10 recruits with the highest salaried coaching staff. This feels like the whalepants who gave up competing with ND and are just fine with being ahead of Holy Cross (but with OSU and MSU).

Good luck against HCRD... a guy who knows New England as well as Donnie Brown but was a hard pass on the players Michigan offered.

Herbstreit just ripped Harbaugh’s recruiting. Saying that he’s always been surprised how Harbaugh has prioritized the Northeast over the traditional recruiting grounds of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Trevin Wallace bumped to a 4 star recruit and is now ranked 74th in the 247 national list. Moved above Clinton Burton as our best recruit rankings wise.

Well... that's what happens when you get completely dropped from the Top 250 (post-switch from Florida to BC).

In addition to KSU, Oklahoma is apparently also now looking at Martin. Auburn may be targeting Okpala now as well. More impressive finds by the staff, hopefully they can hold on.

What are Hafley's chances on getting that Tulane decommit, Williams? I think he tweeted his final 5? Also, anything more on that Arkansas St decommit, Blackwell?

Yeah, Jack Bicknell, Jr. is the O-Line coach at Auburn now. He's supposed to be recruiting Wallace. Hafley's crew's a lot different, & BC's facilities are a lot better, than the last time Bicknell was coaching here. Bright lights are bright lights, but for the most part I do think the guys interested in BC are a bit of a different breed. The biggest unknown is whether a recruit will rest on his laurels once he joins a program. Our base talent traditionally has been more limited, but I also think we have people who are more likely to push to improve.

What this shows is that we shouldn’t care one fuck about rankings. The coaches know talent and that is being confirmed by the offers these kids are getting after we have shown interest. That said, if Porter leaves for Minnesota, then he was never going to make it through 4 years in Chestnut Hill.

I will be damned if I haven't heard this about every staff since the original guru of s.b. first fatefully stuck his hand in his pocket.

Unlike the merrymen and their ilk on TOS, the NEXUS has never cared much of the opinion of the fluid hip chasers. That said, as much as I like The Funishment, me thinks he has a life sized poster of TGOSB on the ceiling above his 4 poster bed.

The allegations that I have such a poster are exaggerated, misleading, and lacking in crucial context!
