FSU kicked Deondre Francois off the team for beating up his girlfriend. It is not clear if it is a different (pregnant) girlfriend that he beat last year.

This is so sad. I'll be praying for his wife. She's been through so much and they are great people.

Very sad. He was an amazing mouthpiece for his son's legacy. Those Red Bandana games meant the world to him. Glad the last one he saw was a big win. RIP

Did they really call a press conference for this? I got a notification on Twitter and it says it's a live stream and Sarge is talking.

think it's opening spring practice presser, first practice is saturday

daz certainly isn't playing up youth card, especially on offense.

fwiw lindstrom sounds like starting C, davon jones is back

Hope someone is recording this to play back when the excuses come out. Sarge sounds optimistic!

there's some decent meat in this presser

on Hamp: 'could've used another year if we're being honest as he needs to get larger. but he's a great person and we're 100% behind him, he's an explosive player'

returner will be open competition between levy, maitre (who is out for spring), zay flowers, etc

This is the most interesting press conference from a bc coach in a long time. Low bar, but still

Roster: https://bceagles.com/roster.aspx?path=football

Robinson is back;
Luchetti to DE;
Pat Brown gone.
Is Zion Johnson eligible for next season?

The punting and PK depth chart looks disastrous. That can't be the plan this year, we'd have the worst special teams in the country.

seems like elijah has been here longer than daz
they are targeting the uconn kicker for grad transfer

i believe zion would need a waiver, but they grant them to nearly everyone so who knows

Unless this Reid development happened in last few weeks, how could they not have let Camp take over as a way to keep him around. I’d have to think being DC at BC would have been more attractive than whatever role he got at Michigan

I was kind of hoping Luchetti would have stayed at TE, he was extremely athletic coming out of HS and a pretty solid b-ball player. With the over-recruiting of the TE position, for sure thought there would have been better candidate to move (although maybe that’s why Brown left, not wanting to change positions ?$

What are the chances Johnson or Valecce start at QB? I can't suffer through another season of Brown.

Best part of the PC is that it sounds like we will get McDuffie back for the season.

I don't believe there was much BC would have been able to do outside of making Camp head coach. This is a HCRD-like move. Camp needs to get away in order to be more attractive to come back in a bigger role.

This, don’t think it was about money,title or anything else it was wanting to go to further boost the resume. The rumors on Reid wanting to retire have been around for a while so makes you wonder if this was the compromise to keep him less responsibilities this way. Pat Brown got medically retired as well that’s why he’s not on the roster.

didn't know where to put this but directv signed on to carry the acc network (altice in ny already agreed)

Comcast and Charter (which is Spectrum) is a sizable group to still be negotiating with. Since DirecTV is owned by AT&T, you'd have to figure that they will be close to a deal with AT&T U-Verse.

Question regarding ND game - is there any utility to going through BC to purchase away game tixx, or am I best off getting them through ND or the secondary market?

Secondary all the way, ND will stick you behind their band.

Thanks Duchie.

It's actually shaping up to be wonderful football weekend in November. BC at ND on Saturday and the New York football Giants at Soldier Field on Sunday. Already picked up 4 tixx to the latter!

Wow, that's a great trip. I would look into it, but really want to finally do Clemson. Not easy to get people to go to Western SC. Charleston, no issue, Clemson and they have things to do.

Is it ND year? Never would have noticed without the 8 BC fans from the 60s.
