KC dominating Indy 24-7. Indy has not scored an offensive TD. Indy got their first 1st down with less than 2 minutes to go in the 1st half. Thought this would be an entertaining game. Vinateri missed a chip shot FG at the end of the half.

a terrible holding call on the Colts' RT really hurt them. This Chiefs' team is good but will not win the SB.

Those teams are bad. Peyton Luck couldn't do a thing against the worst defense in NFL history.

Chargers were smoke and mirrors all year. The last five minutes of the Ravens game was a pretty good indication that a decent QB would destroy the Chargers. The NFL is just garbage and has been for most of the past decade. The Pats, who do, in fact, suck this year, may very well win the SB because of the fact that the league is garbage. The same is true of the Chiefs, Saints and Rams. Do yourself a favor and skip the Conference Championships and get the extended highlights off YouTube.

Rams 26 Saints 23 in OT. Former BC'er John Johnson makes a key interception for the Rams in OT.

Poor no call in regulation when Rams were not given a penalty on an obvious pass interference call.

Ball don’t lie. Edelman deserves every bad thing that happens to him and karma is a bitch. Glad to see he got nailed in the head on the return.

Awesome win by the Pats! Vintage TB12, Gronk & Edelman! College football is a southern game, but we have the world’s best football team! Super Bowl Championship #6 coming up.

For Boston!

Go Pats!!!

Josh McDaniels has been stealing money. To the tune of 3 straight Super Bowls - driven by the offense. But great take.

Don't let up a TD. That seems reasonable enough.

KC simply has the worst defense in the NFL. Great offense... but a joke of a D. The fact that they made it to the Championship game speaks to the terrible football being played in the AFC and the desperate moves the NFL has implemented to create a “juiced ball” era for football. If they had that little RB who liked to beat up white chicks, they would be in the Super Bowl creating a pinball game with the highest over/under ever.

Both games were shitty and highlighted by a lot of stupid from the refs.

But good on John Johnson for getting the spotlight

certainly seemed like the patriots d would stop mahomes going the other way if the chiefs won the toss. especially as this league moves towards pinball football the coin toss becomes the most important play in ot

but fixing the ot rules is the least of the nfl's problems right now

Understand that the PI miss was really bad but:

1. Brees was ghastly in the 4th quarter, made a lot of bad throws and it looked like he would get away with it.

2. Payton absolutely shit himself after they set themselves up in FG range with the long pass completion right before the PI. A shitty pass play on first down that went incomplete is where this game went awry for the 'Aints. What could go wrong? It was a bad play, a low throw, went incomplete and saved the Rams a timeout. At that point you just changed how you approach 2nd and 3rd down and you're letting a stupid decision dictate the rest of the series. You end up in 3rd down, sure you have a missed PI but a scary play, easily could have been picked off. Not sure if that was a bad throw by Brees or a bad play call. Gotta go with a back shoulder throw where there is a low risk for a pick.

The 'Aints simply had no idea how to close out that game and it cost them the NFC Championship. Felt like I was watched Daz on the sideline.

Officiating was also bad this weekend. Amazing how many ODD plays happen and put the refs in this position. A lot of crazy stuff. How about the offsides for KC that negated basically a killer INT?

How do these bad calls still happen in the age of instant replay?

Hearing a lot of the ESPN jackasses pushing for replay on PI calls after the blown call. Imagine how dreadful the product will be if they expand replay. It's already painful to have so many stops and starts to have every little fucking thing replayed. Not sure what the beef is about the Offsides call. It's not an objective call like PI is. It's cut and dry. You're either onsides or offsides. Just because an INT occurred after the violation doesn't change the fact that the idiot lined up offsides. Would anyone question that call if it was a draw for 1 yard? Nope. I've also been hearing retards questioning overtime. Of them said something like "whoever wins the coin toss wins the game." Well, 50% did, 50% didn't yesterday. Chiefs choked on three 3rd and longs. That's on them. How many more rules will get changed because the Patriots won another game and it hurts lots of butts? College OT is fun, but it's gimmicky.

On another note, why do so many men want to make teh sex with Tony Romo. Good Lord, that squeaky, whiny voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. His desire to try to tell me what's about to happen is painfully annoying. STFU you naggy woman.

If you give both teams a possession the second team has an advantage because they can work it over four downs and figure out what you need to get.

The offsides call was newsworthy simply because it showed how stupid and undisciplined KC’s terrible D was. We aren’t talking someone who was being aggressive and tried to time a snap. We are talking some lazy SOB who couldn’t be bothered to turn his head to check with the ref. He wasn’t close to being onside. And, he had absolutely no impact on the play as he made no attempt to even rush the passer. This was akin to having a big touchdown called back because a WR wasn’t lined up on the line of scrimmage. Stupid is as stupid does. KC’s Big 12 defense wouldn’t make the playoffs in years before Trump blew up the NFL (which caused them to go all-in on NBA scoring).
