Whipple would be an excellent choice as OC and head coach in waiting as it will be obvious that Whipple is running the show anyway.

you should give up. he's never going to accept the logic box that he's trapped himself in with the recruiting complaints leading to consistent 7-6 results.

Today is a very difficult day for the Vikings, their coaches, their fans, John, and, more importantly, Gene.
"I have history, and I understand history, so I know where we’ve been and where we are, and where we are trying to go, okay? But it’s been somewhere between 6.5 and 6.6 wins a year since 1980, which is 38 years. We’re at 7..."

the announcers were really shitting on jdf in the 4th quarter last night. i can't remember but hope more of the lambasting was coming from kid-can't-make-a-kick than it was from shitten, but it was pretty brutal (meaning it was likely from shitten).

thoughts and prayers to the df family. may this tragic event continue to keep both of them out of chestnut hill

watched about 10 minutes of the game - on a crucial 3rd and 3 in the 3rd quarter (the first drive the vikings got into seattle territory all game) - witten praised diggs for running a great curl route...he caught it for 2 yards to make it 4th and 1...

Daz can't slam his ketchup soaked fingers on the speed dial fast enough to get JDF to be his next OC

is BC a worse job than Maryland? Why wouldn't we at least reach out to Tee Martin? There is ZERO chance whoever we hire is going to be more inspiring (at least from a recruiting perspective).

I just heard an absolutely fantastic story about FHCJDF and his time as "the fourth best QB on the roster at JMU."

" My best memory of Flip is him picking this girl Allie up over his shoulder and saying 'well, everyone else has had a go at the Syphilis Queen, guess its my turn now."

The person who told me this story was a LB at JMU when Flip Jr. was there and has demonstrated in the past that he is, in fact, a friend of Flip Jr. I think the story is more likely true than not, and if it is will--my caveats about Italian Football Coaches not named Lombardi and my hatred of Gene D aside--gladly welcome the John DeFillipo Era at BC.

Locksley is going to recruit the hell out of that program and will have them on probation ultimately. But, in the meantime, they will be they will be incredibly talented and terribly coached. Tee Martin is a perfect fit.

In fairness to BCTOACCJR, Mike Zimmer is the Addazio of the NFL. BCTOACCJR might be an idiot, but Zimmer is an idiot from leather helmet days.
