Lost in whatever stupid debate you’re all engaging in, this night looked and felt like big time college football for the first time in a really long time at BC. Gameday was here, campus was jumping, we had the Saturday Night ABC game and it looked awesome on TV.

And... perhaps more miraculous than an actual win... fans were in their seats at kickoff.

That game was there to make it interesting if Brown didn’t go down if you ask me, the talent at every position but QB wasn’t the issue last night never been a Perry fan he didn’t stand a chance. Had somebody say maybe they dumbed it down to not risk ruining Perry if he goes out there throws a ton of picks and is awful but as far as I’m concerned he’s not the future anyway, Valecce and Johnson are going to bypass him by next season imo. Just unfortunate we didn’t get to see what could’ve happened if Brown doesn’t go down. Would they have won? No idea but that game is a lot closer if so you can’t rationally think he’s worse then Perry out there. The D did more then enough to give them a chance. Doubt they can beat Cuse without Brown but think FSU is still pretty winnable they are awful.

There was a replay on the telecast of Dabo calling a TO on the sideline right next to a ref but it was still not clear if that happened in time. I assumed Dabo got the TO before the players on the field signaled for it.

I don't understand playing that way unless Perry doesn't know the plays. From the Brown injury on the game was over. 6 years, still no QB. The rest of the team was good enough to win that game, that's why it's so frustrating to watch spread option and punt for 3 quarters.

This. I remember getting into a dust up with some posters here about 2 years ago when Daz brought in Towles. My complaint back then was going into year 4 he still hadn't recruited and developed a quality QB. And here we are in year 6 with the same old problem.
