Eagle1999 {l Wrote}:I am curious how the board would have responded if Daz had offered this kid at this point in the cycle. All-State 7A in Georgia and best offer is Appy State. Interesting. Will be refreshing to have athletes covering receivers instead of DE on Sheridan’s zone blitzes.

I think there will be a pass given to this guy for a bit on guys projected to be in the secondary. This strikes me as taking a shot on a guy that has the athletic ability that if he were 3 inches taller he wouldn't even notice BC. That makes sense to me if you trust the guy measuring the talent.

Correct. The 6’4” 265 lb kid from NH who runs a 5.0 as a WR is the type of flier I can’t stand.

Alston, Flowers and that short skinny kid from Everett have been productive here in their roles

Given Addazio's track record with high school kickers I am willing to let this guy walk.

This is a great PWO offer. If he develops into a player, fantastic. If not, he's a solid BC student that will bring a few more locals to help fill the stands.

Are they recruiting him as a safety or rover type player? They lined him up at CB primarily on defense in the HUDL video.

Speed and physicality look like they'll play at the ACC level but he doesn't do a great job turning around and finding the ball in the air.

He's the type of later offer BC should be making.

I think he’ll probably be a safety. No problem with DB flyers with speed and size given the composition of the staff.

Offers out to Paris Shand DE from Loomis in CT (originally Canadian and had some low end P5 offers) and Jaden Hardy DT from Savannah GA who has some pretty good offers (Tennessee, Auburn, etc)

Lot of new offers this week. This should be a big class, possibly the 25 limit.

Haven’t broken it out, but I think a lot of those offers have been 2021 and beyond. Not as much left in the 2020 class

So these players would prob be 2* and 3* players? Any chance the new coaching staff can flip some commits for February NLI day? Addazio managed to do that a little.

They’re both 3 stars, solidly P5 players. Tough to flip many top guys because most who have committed are locked in after early signing

Both these guys have legit P5 (and ACC) interest.

Two new crystal ball picks for guys on visits this weekend. Jiovhany Holmes which is a name mentioned here already, but a newish name is Matthew Rueve, 6’4 QB from StX in Ohio (mostly MAC offers).

Interesting - I am pro taking a QB every year for depth/given it is a common transfer position, and this seems about as good as we could expect at this time. Also nothing wrong with taking a St. X guy, all things being equal.

Great offer from what should be a pipeline program. And, Matt Hass is his cousin.

That would be excellent. Malpractice not to take a QB every year. That’s how you end up with Grosel starting against Clemson.

Jaden Hardy will be on campus as well. Would be a big get.

Dilfer is a big fan of his. He throws that seam ball very well.

He's a better offer than the Perry/Flutie/etc. we've recruited over the last 7 years at the position.
