Joyner and Horsely are the two to watch. Joyner has had a ton of schools reach out while Horsely has had some lie VT and UVA reaching out. Trapilo,Pyne,Smith,Gordinier,Hines,Penn have all reaffirmed their commitments from what I’ve seen. Don’t think they’ll lose too many. Even Joyner and Horsely I think could still stay as long as the new coach is in quick etc.

WRT Joyner and Horsely, it should be alarming in that they're the only defensive linemen on the Commitment List.

If BC recruits stay committed u til the new coach is hired, it really speaks to the type of kids we recruit (and have recruited over the past 25 or so years).

If you had to pick the least likely guy to leave, it’s Trapilo, given the legacy

Guess it wasn't playing for Addazio that made him pick BC.

He’s the one who’s dad went on hockeyrection to say how he picked BC because he knew a brain surgeon that went there undergrad and wanted to go somewhere academically elite. I think he was always safe.

Trapilo and Pyne also seem like guys who would stick and that’s the top of the class

That would be unfortunate but he may just be keeping his options open which is the smart thing to do. For all he knows, the new coach will want to run a 3-4 D.

So who has reconfirmed besides Smith, Penn & Gordinier?

Think the only two to watch are Joyner and Horsely maybe Blackwell. Although the RU have reported while RU is pushing for Horsely and they want him to visit he’s waiting on BCs hire and is still planning to OV to BC next weekend. I don’t think they’ll lose much. Most have said they are solid.

Apparently, we just offered a guy in the class of 2023 Boubacar Traore from CM despite not having a head coach.

Tarik Black from Michigan entered the transfer portal. Orig from Cheshire Academy and I believe is close with Brandon Sebastian. Out of HS was a 4* WR and offered by everyone. If BC makes an inspiring hire and he decides to ultimately leave, may be a name to watch.

Scooter Harrington from Stanford / Greenwich, CT / BC legacy and former commit is also in portal.

Donald Stewart (WR from NJ/Stanford) also entered the portal. He was high on BC out of HS (I believe SPP) and is close to Anthony Brown

Today is the last day where a coach can contact an athlete outside of BC campus until 1/16 so you have to figure that Hafley will not be contacting any new athletes but rather calling existing ones to firm them up. he can also meet with them in person on sunday on BC campus so I guess he will fly in for sunday meet the existing ones scheduled on visits and then do the press conference on Monday.

Black has not been the same since the injuries.
What is going on at Stanford?

I was wondering how Harrington was doing at Stanford. With the exception of Wilkins most of the local players who leave for greener pastures don’t seem to pan out.

Go Eagles!
