Since the IPF went into service, there's been very few flyers taken by BC, that's not by chance.

Apparently, Dillon's twitter post asking who was going to be the next to decide to fly got some results...

I think that was from the weekend, this is the guy who has been tweeting prior to new commitments ...

*he tweeted same thing twice today, the first one before Penn's announcement was on twitter

Reading the tea leaves, looks like a few predictions on 247 for both Jah Joyner (DE from Danbury, CT) and Cameron Horsley (DT from NJ), prob one of those two guys to announce commitment next.

Looks like both guys have predictions from the usual team site writers, but both also picked up predictions from Brian Dohn who is a more national writer for 247 and usually not very pro-BC so his picks may carry a bit more weight.

Kevo Wesley (OT from Chicago) put on twitter that he is down to a final 2, BC and Vandy.

Originally offers from BC, Van, Zona, Ill, Iowa, Iowa St, Kansas, Ville, Michigan State, NW, Purdue, Cuse, Wazzu. 247 has him making an August announcement and he visited this past weekend

Seems to be a camp offer, just when I said BC was hardly taking fliers :whiteflag But camp offers often times surprise so :cheer

Flier season is here!

He looks like a punishing blocker, but the level of competition looks horrific.

He just dropped the "dream school" line about BC on social media

I would like to congratulate him in advance on his future commitment to Penn State, Michigan, or Notre Dame. Also his upcoming 4 star rating
I look forward to being called stupid for expressing the above thought.

Don’t think you will see many fliers last year there was only one camp commit an it was a kid with other P5 offers. BC has 2 silent commits so they’ve already got 11 on board and are in good shape for a lot of their top targets. Which is why I have zero issue with this commit the kid would’ve had to have seriously balled out to get an offer right now. Looks like an in-line TE. Vicious blocker but has solid hands. When you look at Gordinier, Mahar and Royer none of them are great blockers so that’s a part of this commitment I think.

Daz can't be expected to get in the top 4 from a TE from the ISL.
Also, looks like the Reid move is paying dividends!

Looks like Hans wasn't such a reach after all.

Seth Jones has officially de-committed, better now than a few days before signing day, so there is that.

Why bother committing after your first offer and so early? someone gave him shitty advice.

Someone gave him great advice. The best thing a recruit can do is verbal to a school like BC before doing the camp circuit. It gets them significantly more attention than it would if they merely had offers. A school like BC signifies that (a) you are a Power 5 talent, (b) with no academic concerns and (c) willing to travel. Further, a verbal to a middling program (like BC) does not scare off anyone.

Had to expect this...the Big 12 is a good place to be seen as a wideout. We are running an offense from 1984.
