I hope the class stays as good as this class regardless of whether there are any NE kids in it.

Just some bigger names to watch, I think they have a really good shot at landing McQuarrie and Van Dyke from all accounts they want 2 next class question is would two big time QBs be ok being in the same class? Might be the perfect storm with two local kids one has family on the team etc.

RB is an interesting one because I’m not sure I see a sure fire really good chance there. Marhsawn Lloyd was mentioning BC in his top 3 with OSU and PSU at one point he hasn’t really talked about them since. Boone is a guy I could see them pulling maybe they prioritize one of the NJ kids. They’d love Berger and he’s visited don’t think that’s realistic st this point though.

WR Dottin is a guy who they’ve made up some ground with and if they land Van Dyke that would help there had been talk of a package deal at one point not sure if that’s the same thing now he’d been leaning PSU. Yaseen is Sam Johnson’s teammate and BC probably leads. McDaniel really likes BC we’ll see if that keeps up as he continues getting offers but even recently after a couple big ones BC still seems to be right in it. They might have a shot at a couple of the other MI kids as well at WR. Seth Jones has been up to BC for camp so if they want him they’d be in good shape there.

Not too many viable TE options after Bauman committed to ND. Maybe Johnson but he’s pretty quiet haven’t heard much on him besides he likes PSU. They have a kid from Elder coming thus weekend with Bono who seems like a potential P5 recruit.

OL should be a good cycle from early indications. I really think they can land Zinter and they’ve made up a ton of ground on Pyne with national analysts even thinking it might be coming down to BC and ND. I’m still skeptical but they have done a good job. Petitbon has visited a lot that’s a guy they have a great shot at. They probably lead for Jakob James and they should be factors with Felter and Fashanu.

DL I’d look at guys like Vanover,Wodtly,Solomon and then again seems some interest from the MI kids but again we’ll see how serious that is if they get out to BC again.

LB is another they have a shot at a really good class. Honestly think they land Mullings in the end but Michigan is going to be big competition and they have a good shot at Smith and Turner as well.

DB is tough early for me to figure out who they could land because there isn’t a ton of regional talent offered right now so again it’s going to depend on visits etc to see who’s really interested. I think they’ll be involved with Mack, Porter is a legacy, Smith in GA is a guy who’s supposedly had a good junior year and BC got in way early. Guys based on school etc I think they could end up involved with are Anderson,Sellers, and Still. They’d love Morant doubt that happens.

ATH wise they lead for Barron, Massoud is a guy they’ve been on for years already they’ll stay a factor, and I’d assume if they want him Justin Robinson stays in GA by the did make a trip up to BC already thus year for a game so who knows.

Overall the momentum seems to be helping they just need to finish with some of these kids. Obviously other kids will pop up with offers etc and you’ll have your yearly dose of FL,TX,CA kids that you find out have interest when they actually visit but that’s not something you cans project now.

awesome work 24

doesn't project to be a huge class, using 25 gerald's scholarship breakdown (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16277&hilit=scholarship&start=270) there will be 14 seniors next year + natural attrition.

i guess a focus should be on the OL.

4+ (idk what they're going to do w guys who are eligible for 5th year but haven't played) leaving this year / 3 coming in
3 more leaving following year

Petitbon would be a great get for BC. Comes from a strong DC program (Gonzaga) in a very tough football conference. Great bloodlines there. Grandfather played in the NFL and his dad played LB for MD. Brother is currently at Bama - If he is half the athlete as his brother, BC would be very lucky to get him.

At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Jones is a dynamic and talented receiver who is capable of making big time plays. In addition to Boston College, Jones was being recruited by Notre Dame as well as Texas. In fact, Jones was at Notre Dame this past weekend and still decided to pull the trigger.

Following his visit back in June, Jones told Eagle Insiders, "On the visit, we saw the new indoor facility and the new recreational center. We saw all three levels of dorms and some of the classrooms. I was blown away, it's a great place to be."

Since that day, Jones also took visits to the University of Texas (September 9th) and Notre Dame (November 10th).

I think this is the earliest Addazio has pulled a commitment for an upcoming class (at least that I remember). Should be interesting to see if others continue to offer

This has to be the most outside-the-box early commit ever. Kid is from Texas with no (at least reported) northeast ties. He plays WR (which has historically been the least talented position on the team). And, he had interest from all the babyrapist programs. It is forever from 2020’s signing day. But, that’s a helluva a recruiting job right there.

Hopefully it's a sign that they are actually starting to build connections at Catholic schools around the country. Beats the hell out of a wall around the ISL

Got to think gameday, a competitive result (boxscore wise) against the #2 team in the country, and hopefully this season overall with a strong finish will help recruiting in 20/21. it is critical that we find a way to win at FSU and then get the W on senior day against Cuse. that would give us a 9 win season, on the cusp of a New Years six bowl if cuse beats ND this week. Daz can sell progress and the fact that an individual big time recruit could be the difference makers to get us over the hump.

future for BC football is bright contrary to what the Debbie downers / daz haters / cloud yellers are posting otherwise.

Vrabel is connection. Was a teammate of Ty's at St. Pius. Ty's dad is a big fan of BC, which I am sure carries some weight back in Houston.

Parker McQuarrie(6’7,208 from NH) BC,MICH,PITT,RU

was at the clemson game, 9th ranked pro style qb nationally. believe would be highest ranked bc qb commit ever (until the recruiting services knock him down for committing)

He must actually be good if he lives in New Hampshire and still is a 4*

But... not good enough to survive a BC commitment.

It'll be great if he commits to BC, gets knocked down a star, then gets an offer from some baby rapists and moves back up a star

Not to be Debbie Downsey...but why would would he come to BC and run this offense? No chance to showcase his skills at all. Do you truat the staff to cater the offense to a true dropback?

What are you talking about ? What have they done this year (or last) that would be a deterrent to a pro-style/traditional drop back type QB ? If anything, you can make an argument they haven't used Brown's mobility enough in an attempt to keep him healthy. They have effectively tried molding AB (a "dual threat") into more of a traditional QB role and all of the QB's they have brought in since (McDonald, Valece, Johnson) are all considered "pro-style". This trope by corners and others that Addazio is trying to hunt for Tim Tebow/dual-threat QB's really cant be more from the truth.

Not only that, but our 1st recruit for next season is a high level WR. Spaz has been doing well recruiting the skill position except for QB and BC should never have flirted with the dual threat QB when we were putting pocket passers in the NFL.
