Any ideas on how this will work? With the game at 8pm, tailgating will open at 5pm. Can we park on campus for GameDay if we are out by 12-1?

Jarmond tweeted that they're working through all the details today, Id imagine they will announce soon.

I think the first time I got a parking ticket on Comm Ave by the main entrance and the second time I want to say I parked in Robsham or the garage, Id have to imagine they will open up campus for parking and make everyone clear out until 5

I know this is a worn out topic, but it's just insane BC can't work out a better deal with Newton and Boston in terms of on campus parking. People used to be able to park on the streets. We can't do that anymore, so at least let people park on campus whenever they want. It would make traffic better and then BC could justify ending tailgates 15 minutes before kickoff if we were to go back to that policy. But I know, IWNH.

i think the play is to park in a garage for gameday and then they'll clear out campus.

i imagine they'll be releasing news today given they haven't even announced where gameday will be.

overall agreed, jarmond needs to fix this. as one who drives 2.5 hours each way for nearly every game, if i don't time it perfectly i'm either getting berated by powertripping public servants earning time and a half or i'm sitting in a parking lot on comm ave. i asked him about it at the nyc fundraiser last winter but was unable to get anything beyond platitudes of they're working on it.

i've heard several guesses as to why it is the way it is but nothing CONFIRMED. one thing i heard was it's not as simple as 1 hour extra tailgating = 1 hour extra for paying the cops as they operate in set hour contracts.

given what he was able to accomplish with booze for games, i guess i have more confidence jarmond him fixing it than any other of the dopes we've had in that office of late but it needs to get fixed

Maybe mentioned elsewhere, but parking allowed starting at 4 pm...one time exemption to 3 hr rule.

Haven’t tried it in a while but have had success and also had a guy tell us we were going to get towed.
