A rollout on 2nd and 12 where you give the QB two reads is not going to work. We either need an offensive mind that can give a QB more than 2 reads to choose from or a QB that can make 2+ reads without being overwhelmed. We need more spread concepts

A system that is run dominant can work, it's a decent counter to today's spread defenses. However, you need things to make it work. A dominant O-Line (non negotiable), a dominant back (non negotiable), a defense that can keep it a one score game (non negotiable, because you're not prepared to throw). We only have one of these things. This system needs to go, we simply don't have the chess pieces for it
