innocentbystander {l Wrote}:this game sucked. every aspect of the game (with the exception of BC's special teams, ironically) sucked. Both Brown and Dillon played like they wanted to get cut.

Other than the punter and the kicker, special teams were great.

true

punting sucked. Of course they didn't block any punts for touchdowns this time. Kicking? meh. They didn't have hardly any kicks so wtf difference did it make?

Both our punter and kicker have been dreadful all season

Walker doesn't have the speed to break TDs but feels like he always ends up between the 40s

Could be worse: we could've lost to an 0-3 Old Dominion...

Purdue is much better than their record reflects.
We still should have won but I can see why Vegas expected the game to be close if we had shown up to play.

No they aren't. BC was just bad today.

Purdue is bad at football. Our coach is really bad at coaching football. Our QB is just the fucking worst. Seriously, he is to college quarterbacking what Christian Hackenberg is to NFL quarterbacking. EJ Perry is also bad, but honestly, Brown should not see the field until he learns to actually read a defense and can throw a football into the ocean while standing on the beach.

I guess when you lose that badly they don't even give you access to the press conference room.

I think the QB didn't start until the 3rd game?

Correct. They went to him in the Missou game and the offense exploded. Brohm made a comment after yesterday’s game that they played conservative their first 3 games... and you can see what that got them. It seems like they pivoted for the BC game and haven’t looked back. Credit Brohm for adjusting. Blame him for terrible personnel/strategy decisions coming out of the Summer. Either way, the lopsidedness of the Purdue loss seems to make a little more sense.

That said, it doesn’t minimize the shittiness of Daz. The fact that Brohm can do in year 2 what Daz can’t in year 5 is damning. The fact that BC has been in dogfights against Wake and played atrociously against RCC (who tried to give us the win) are still issues that can’t be ignored.

Nonetheless, at the end of the day, Temple and Purdue are significantly better than the “utter garbage” OOC schedule that we all assumed we had during the preseason.

Even more damning is that it's year 6, not 5.
