Ga Southern and Clemson tied at zero early in the 2nd qtr. Perhaps UMass losing to them was not as bad as I originally thought.

Next week BC plays Purdue. I stopped thinking about Wake Forest about 30 seconds after the win and started thinking only of Purdue. Now I am giving Wake Forest a second thought. I don't think we are going to learn all that much about how good or bad this BC team is when they play at Purdue. That said, Wake Forest plays host to Notre Dame next week. If (as I expect) Wake Forest wins that game, we are going to have a much clearer, objective measurement to tell just how good this BC team is.

I am watching this Syracuse-FSU horror show and flipping back and forth to the Clemson game. These teams are just not that good. BC has a rare opportunity this year, a very rare one. They have a teeny-tiny window that they need to get though that could give them an incredibly special season, a season that several of us have been waiting on for decades. But they need to not miss that window which means, fixing those special teams ASAP. Its in their hands.

Am I the only one unimpressed with Trevor Lawrence (sorry Dee)? He has a slow motion. He also has a AB-like penchant to throw a little late. But, he certainly has been the beneficiary of some pretty sick yards-after-catch.

Also, while BC has certainly copied some gimmicks used at other schools, the turnover backpack at FSU is the most embarrassing thing I've seen in a while. Just awful.

Yup, but it was the normal girls in the crowd that were so impressive, not the pom pom girls with all of that caked on makeup.
