I thought Loefflers playcalling was fine.

We started with 11 straight 1st down runs. Every Defensive Coordinator is scheming for AJ Dillon and BC historically always runs 1st down. But we suddenly have a competent QB, talented WR's and TE's, and we start with 11 straight 1st down runs. Terrible.

Playcalling was frustrating but exactly right. They set up easy TDs. Brown executed.

Where are the Anthony Brown haters?

I am still very much in the skeptical camp on Brown. He played against a defense selling out on stopping Dillon, and generally they don't look very good on pass defense. If Brown can repeat the performance, I'll stand down But frankly, Wake is not a very good team. They maximized output on hurry up offense, and got every special team break. Their dline looks decent, but after that not so much.

Wake is not any worse than most teams on our schedule and they are all going to try to stop the run.

The thing is, every team on the schedule except maybe VT and Clemson will have to sell out to stop Dillon. It's the beautiful thing about finally having a balanced offense. Only took Daz year 6.

Covered the spread despite having a punt blocked and fumbling a punt deep inside our territory. That's kind of par for the course for BC, but they got a big road win in the ACC.
