The lost decade of BC football.

I remember someone roughly 10 years ago right after spaz was hired saying that BC football would take 10 years to get back to where they were in ‘08. At the time, I thought they were crazy. Little did I know that the next 10 years would be insufferable.

That's a fascinating story and I look forward to seeing the hardcover in bookstores soon

A tale of one man's long, thirsty decade with no BC poles to smoke.

Reid Oslin is putting the finishing touches on it. Like the prior BC Football history it will have reproductions of memorabilia in it. So look out for a mini box of sandwiches Spaz sent the ground crew, Montel Harris' Temple jersey and a collection of smashed headsets from Adazzio's O-fer ACC season!

Surprised AP ranking wasn't lower, considering how the team was embarrassed.

Back in the polls (24 AP, 25 Coaches) after a ton of ranked teams go down this week. Cuse and UVA right there with us at 22 and 23.

The ACC is actually pretty strong this year. There is only one team that is a national title contender, but there are 4 or 5 teams that have a genuine shot of ending the season (all of them, together) in the 15th best to 25th best range. I'm not sure that happens every year. But even if it did, this year's stronger teams are NOT the ACC's usual suspects for stronger teams.

The ACC is not very good this year, with the obvious exception of Clemson who is good. Then again, no one is. Big Ten is a mess, Oklahoma and Texas have fizzled. Outside of Alabama, no one in the SEC looks that great. Washington State is the best team in the PAC 12 which is all you really need to know. Down year across the board.

what is the longest the tv folks can wait to set the time for the Clemson game?

If, and it's a large if, BC can beat Vag Tech this weekend, the BC-Clemson matchup becomes much more desirable for a prime spot.

I'm not usually one to mix it up in this type of discussion, but the comments section that b0mberman is referring to is pretty funny. It's not Atl's comments funny, but enough of a distraction.

Im sure its been mentioned elsewhere here, but IF this happens, you could easily see BC being a candidate for Gameday that week. The CFB schedule is fairly mediocre that weekend
