Shea field

Postby FastEddies on Thu Aug 30, 2018 2:27 pm

I’m going to my first BC game in a couple years on Saturday since I happen to be in the area. I bought a parking pass online for Shea field but now I’m looking on the BC website which says you need not only a parking pass and game tickets but tailgating tickets as well. Do those just come attached to the pass? (Mine arrives tomorrow night). I’m not even able to tailgate, I just got that pass to avoid walking with a 3 year old from the bottom of lake street.

As long as you have the parking pass you should be good. That will let you drive onto Shea. I believe the tailgating tickets refer to the armbands or whatever that allow friends and family to come in and out of Shea. Probably nothing you have to worry about.

Then again, I haven't tailgated on Shea in years, so don't take my word for it.

Thanks! I’m hoping since it’s me and three kids they won’t bust my balls too much about it. Although it is BC so they probably will.

Get ready for a new look. Have you seen the pics? Shea looks a million times better with the IPF construction finished.

Lower campus has always been a little dingy compared to upper. But with all of the construction and updates finishing up, the campus as a whole is going to look great in a couple of years. Even the Brighton Campus is starting to look decent now that the baseball and softball fields are done.

Wow, they really classed up that dirt road! Looks really good.
P.s. didn’t there used to be a chain-link fence around the forest to the left?

I've heard that while the city still owns the land, BC is now allowed to manage it.

Former dirt road is now the main way off lower campus.

Forest is about to get a walking trail and be open to the public:

Because there are too many rules to remember, whats the story with Friday night tailgating for Miami?

Is it 3 hours before and none after?

Yes.

The only special announcement I've seen about the Miami game is that Needham satellite lot parking will not be available.

Miami is the Red Bandana game. They will also be honoring the players from the BC41-ND39.

The only thing gayer than that was the schools that copies it.

The only thing that can make Boise's Turnover Throne gayer would be a dildo strapped to it.

How much dough does a guy have to donate if he wants to park his car on game days in the giant new garage they just built on Shea Field?
