W - 9/13 - @ Wake Forest - Lopsided. Defense shuts down Wake. AJ picks up where he left off.
W - 9/22 - @ Purdue - Stays close for a while, but ends up lopsided after Purdue's rebuilt defense collapses in the 2nd half. Dillon puts up 200.
W - 9/29 - Temple - Blah.
W - 10/6 - @ NCST - State really misses those 7 NFL draft picks on defense as BC's OL tires State's D out in the 2nd half. Starts close, but BC wins by 3 scores.
W - 10/13 - Louisville - Defense shines in this one. Unexpected defensive grind, but BC wins in front of a packed Alumni.
W - 10/29 - Miami - BC ranked top 15 and with two weeks of hype sells out Alumni for the Friday night game. Defense makes plays, but Miami still scores. Offense struggles and makes mistakes. But 4th quarter comeback magic and BC win's a memorable one!
W - 11/3 - @ Virginia Tech - BC 8-0 and top 10, a media darling. VT's offense isn't ready for a BC defense in full swing. We're in the backfield all night and do enough for the win.
L - 11/10 - Clemson - Lose on a last second FG to the #1 team in the nation. moral victories. Was fun while it lasted.
L - 11/17 - @ Florida State - FSU feeling disrespected. BC too cocky. Let-down game.
W - 11/24 - Syracuse - Lopsided. Daz is obnoxiously pleased with himself.

They aren't beating Clemson, but that overrated Miami team under the lights at the Heights on a Friday night is a ripe ass target that everyone is ignoring. Second upset choice is not that good VT in Magical Lane stadium. People are way overrating everyone but Clemson. Even FSU is gettable, but I'll pass on the road.

I also think people are refusing to recognize that BC is a different animal than in past Daz seasons. They finally have a strong line, elite skill position players in Dillon and White, and a stong defense, particularly at linebacker and safety. There are only a few things that could/will keep this team from being the second best team in the conference: (1) the stubborn head coach; (2) the inaccurate QB; (3) QB depth; (4) the CB departures.

I think 2 and 4 will be fine, Brown should make a jump and I have faith in the staffs' ability to find athletes on the back end. 1 is a loss or two, unfortunately. 3 is the difference between 6-7 wins and 8-9 wins. Brown needs to stay on the field.

They'll beat half of the schedule running the ball 40 times, and not just with Dillon.

this coach is snake-bit by youth and injuries. i guarantee you he will be able to crow about both at some point this season - and if i had to wager it will be before the ides of october. hence my predictions for 6 wins.

the injury reports should be coming out of summer sessions any day now...

It's 10-2 season. First 10-2 season for me in 11 or so years. This is dependent upon Anthony Brown and AJ Dillon staying healthy for the entire year. If they lose one, especially Brown, it's 6-6 season again. Field goal kicking and Addazio's game-day coaching are always a concern, but other than Clemson, the big teams are overrated. I actually think BC could win a lot of games comfortably so FG kicking and coaching won't be a huge factor.
