Zoo Mass is pummeling Duquesne at the moment. I certainly hope that at least some portion of the BC coaching staff are sitting in the stands over at Amherst, scouting.

I know Teddy. This is not a reflection of how good Zoo Mass is. But scouting them today is a pretty good way for the coaching staff to have a full understanding of both their offense and their defense before they play them. It could only work to their advantage to be there.

I don't pretend to be well-versed in FCS football, but Duquesne's records over the last three seasons have been 8-4, 8-3, 7-4, and the last time they were blown out by Albany was 2011. They've also won their (admittedly awful) conference 4 times in the last 7 years. Sure, they're a cupcake for an FBS team, but the score is still eyebrow-raising.

Well we'll see if Duquense can bounce back against the Lock Havem Bald Eagles this week.

Not all FCS is the same. Duquense went 8-4 last season, but one of those 4 was a 51-13 loss to South Dakota State in the opener. The year before, they went 8-3, but one of those 3 was a 45-10 loss to Youngstown State.

Duquesnse is a cupcake for the top tier of FCS as well. They win most of their games in conference, and their conference is bad.

None of that is to say Albany is a powerhouse, but at least they play in the Colonial

There's a half hour show on NESN tonight at 6:30 called "Boston College Football: Decide to Fly" A look behind the scenes with Boston College Football throughout the 2018 season. Apparently this will be a weekly show?

Put up big points in primetime on a Thursday night on the road against Wake and I bet we get 20-25.
