I think this will prove to be a mistake by Clemson.

Just curious why you think so. I don't have dog in the fight, but it appears Swinney thinks he wants to go with a guy who has the stronger arm, no?

He's a true freshman... a very talented true freshman who may be great in 3 years. But, Clemson is in position to win the national championship this year. I think Kelly Bryant offers a better opportunity to accomplish that. And, now... with Bryant transferring, they are opperating without a net should The Savior stumble or get injured.

Though, even with a third stringer in, it was impressive how good play calling kept Syracuse off balance. Decent coaching goes a long way. If only.....

I give you credit for your consistency...actual performance never factors into your assessments of competance.

Sweeney is addazio at a factory. He was a shitty coach his first few years, then he got talent. Great recruiter at a factory getting kids BC will never sniff.

Thats loser talk. No cost in making a call and asking him if he would like to throw to our 10 TEs.

Any QB that comes to BC will be throwing against a team stacking the box to stop AJ. Should be a dream come true.

I think he winds up in the Coastal Division ACC with the hopes of showing up Trevor Lawrence in the ACCCG... VT, GT or Miami all fit the bill.

He’s not coming to BC but he did visit multiple times while he was a recruit I want to say yhree visits but was definitely two. Then he really blew up and BC fell out of the picture.

How does a transfer QB go anywhere but Oklahoma at this point? I mean, you are a QB who is disappointed about your production... why wouldn't you go to the conference where defenses are apparently prohibited from tackling?

Brandon Wimbush has BC in his top 3 with Miss St and Houston. Tough to beat out Moorhead.

My guess is Wimbush ends up with Moorehead. Moorehead is smart enough to make him productive and there is a tie in from his original commitment to Penn State. For what it is worth, the SEC guy on SBNation is asserting that Hurts has BC and Georgia Tech in his Final 5. I would be astounded if that were true. I don’t think there is anyway Hurts goes anywhere north. My guess is he goes home to Texas and Baylor, where he can throw for eleventy billion yards in the 7 on 7 Big 12 League.

Funny how BC is linked to all this QB transfer talk....I mean, is there some perception out there that BC is lacking a real starting QB?

Wimbush and Hurts must be impressed by our new OC hire if they have BC on their list.

I heard the name Scott Turner, but that was a while ago... Otherwise, it's been pretty sealed up.

He is working out today with Anthony Brown. I don’t know what Miss St has at QB, but getting a masters degree at BC coming from ND is top notch education wise. Culturally very similar schools versus redneck Mississippi

I admit it. I thought swapping a seasoned, successful star QB in favor of a top recruit was a mistake. It wasn't. I think Clemson still wins that game with Bryant, but it wouldn't be the same beat down. At the end of the day, I think I am colored by my BC fan experience... which is one that has routinely seen scrambling QBs wreck our D.
