I’m a little sketchy on hiring anyone named Nunzio, but BC should’ve just hired his brother for that 10th spot

Let Reid retire, and promote Camp. It's going to happen soon anyway

Daz should give half his salary to Camp to keep him here and should be reaching out to Nunzio to come coach at BC with Anthony.

Who in their right mind would go to Rutgers right now???

Program is in the toilet & Camp is on a good trajectory right now at BC.

He already is the co-DC.

There is no more precarious position in football than Rutgers coaching staff. He makes that move, the. He is an idiot who can recruit. Seriously, I get the brother connection, but Nunzio must be thinking the move was a mistake at this point. It would probably be more likely that we recruit Nunzio away from Rutgers than the other way around. However, one thing Scarlet Clerks have way over is is the annual ability to be home for Xmas.

The thing about College Football these days is it is way to easy for coaching handlers, friends and family to generate "artificial demand" for your services. Camp is good for us right where he is. If he took over DC from Reid, he'd have to own the weak defense we have in 2019. The biggest threat for his services is a school that wants to recruit NJ hard, and pays more than BC for position coaches. Think schools that can use a recruiting bump like UNC, Virginia, Michigan State, Louisville, etc...

Not a good look. Could be for leverage to get the full DC title. Can’t imagine he wants to be on same staff as Partridge.

It’s too bad Camps agent has to leverage offers every offseason to get his client the promotion and money he deserves.

We are turning into the Temple of assistant coaches.

BC has to step up with coaches salaries, cannot keep running this program on the cheap. This would really hurt recruiting. We should have hired Don Brown as HC and made Camp DC. Bring in Whipple as OC. Losing a head coach to a football factory over millions of dollars in salary is one thing, losing assistant over far less money is totally unacceptable.

You are an embarrassment to the BC community. For all that is good and holy, please stop posting.

Why wouldn’t he?

Partridge is the former Paramus Catholic head coach with questionable ethics.

Position coach at Michigan is a step down. But, it could be a pay raise. If he got another title, like recruiting coordinator, it would be a no brainer.

Here’s the deal, this thing looks like it’s coming to end for Dazoo. Everyone can se the writing on the wall. If Campanile can further his career, he should.

Is there any evidence at all that BC underpays coaches in football? Daz makes market salary and I've heard his assistants do as well. I realize Boston is expensive to live in, but you can't live in Boston for a few hundred thousand dollars?

BC pays close to market but gets killed with cost of living. The only apples to apples i remember recently was when TOB took guys down to NC State. All their salaries were public because they were state employees. But go on Zillow and look at homes for 500k in Ann Arbor or Columbus OH and show me where you can get a comparable house within 50 miles of Chestnut Hill. it is not strictly a Boston issue. The California schools deal with it too.

I thought being in Boston puts us in a competitive disadvantage other ways too, labor is already more expensive up here and BC insists on using Union labor when we build new facilities, it shouldn't enter into the equation. Also, land acquisition charges for us are ridiculous. We got lucky with the Seminary.

He's gone.

Multiple sources have confirmed for The Michigan Insider that Jim Harbaugh has followed up his splash hire of former Alabama co-defensive coordinator Josh Gattis by filling one of his two defensive vacancies with former Boston College co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Anthony Campanile.

Why would an assistant coach buy a house? Serious question. These guys rarely live somewhere beyond 3 years. Harbaugh has as much of a chance being at Michigan 3 years from now as Daz does BC. Assistants under both will move if a better opportunity comes up (as they should in such a fickle business). But, there is no reason for any of these guys to get into a 30-year Fixed Mortgage for a year and a half.

That said, sure... rental prices will be similarly elevated. That said, there are benefits that usually come with being in a more desirable area... restaurants, entertainment, school systems, etc. If you have no concern of any of those, sure... move to Raleigh for a couple of low-cost years. But, clearly it ain't all that... as Swepson moved back to "OMG the cost of living" Taxachussets to be a lowly High School coach.

unless there's some rabbits about to jump out of hats to improve the coordinator spots immensely, then this falls on Jarmond.
