Valdez and Morias looked pretty good

I watched a different game. Perry is mediocre but McDonald is the best thrower that's been on that field since Ryan.

Is the 1st team offense vs. the second team defense (and vice-versa) something they do every year? I would have thought they would want the 1s to go against their counterparts.

In a real game it would be terrifying to play either guy. In fairness to Perry, he apparently thought the kid who picked the ball was on his team due to the screwy jersey issue with Muse.

Perry made one sweet throw to Elijah Robinson, who had a sweet day. Otherwise, McDonald seemed to be the better thrower, he's not as good an athlete as Perry. I thought both looked good actually when it came to zip on the ball.

tough to take too much out of the game given the format. seems like a lot of times the d was hesitant when approaching a ball carrier

regarding the qbs, i don't think anthony's job is in jeopardy (IRregardless of the nonsense :oldman posts on bci / atl)

agreed w tedwardo, elijah looked pretty good

would be great if they can get an edge rusher besides zach / ray

assuming denis has a year like last, it'll make 4 straight years a DB will be drafted. crazy considering the last one before was who tribble?

Brown is definitely not losing his job, far more upside. But the two guys yesterday throw better now.

Who was #2 playing receiver that caught a TD pass? He seems to have potential. Thought Jordan-Williams looked decent and has upside although dropped an easy pass. Elijah Robinson also looked good.

The summer battle for second string QB will be interesting when the two freshmen show up.

Elijah Robinson was wearing #2 for some reason. He hasn't really played the last two seasons.

Then who was wearing #1 who was also playing receiver? He had the nice catch in the 4th, I think.

Are you sure that wasn't #11 Lewis?

Maybe. He caught the ball over the DB and had nice footwork to stay in bounds.

EDIT - Maybe the catch was by Kobay White and the 9 looked like a 1 from where I was sitting. Perhaps I should watch the replay and shut up for now.

Robinson was in 1 and had the two big catches. White was in 9. Had same Q about 2, since Allen and Dillon had it on as well.

He also put on a different shirt midway through the 2nd half. I saw him putting it on but didn't catch the number.

According to the video embedded on Blog Boy's site, #2 was Robinson (0:15 second mark).

Robinson played for both the maroon and white team on saturday. Is that where the confusion is coming from?

How did Nate Funk do? I expect really big things out of that guy coming off the spring game. Funkmeister for Heisman.

BC finally has a live and accurate arm on campus. McDonald makes throws the others on this team can't or won't. Brown has accuracy issues. Perry seems like boring game manager type.

As is the case with all quarterback conversations, the players in the locker room know who they want under center. Wonder what the thought is in the BC locker room? It will come out. It always does.
