Didn't realize we get Miami at home next year. Hopefully we play them in October or November.

EJ Perry might get more snaps than Brown in weeks 1 and 2.

feel like we are almost certainly getting of the 4 remaining games:

-clemson or miami (my guess is miami) on a friday night
-cuse at home thanksgiving weekend.

which will give us a home schedule of: labor day, holy cross, temple, friday night, thanksgiving, louisville and clemson.

The Thanksgiving weekend home game is underrated. It usually draws well and is a good excuse to get away from the family.

Yes, sometimes it is very cold. :shrug

Back loaded schedule helps them settle in. Could be 6-0 with three U and L'Ville rolling in.

I predict Daz will win 7 games.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

After Temple, I don't feel confident of a single win until Syracuse. Wake and Purdue are strong toss ups too.

the excuses we will here from october 6th to november 17, a stretch of @NC State, Ville, Miami, @VT, clemson, @FSU will be legendary. "The hardest stretch in boston college football history"

Hell Hoffses already pointed out that we have Wake on short rest

Just about the perfect schedule. The back-loaded schedule allows what should be a great OL to have some time to come together and hopefully start dominating. It also allows Brown some time to get back up to speed and develop a bit more. The entire team should be pretty confident going into the 5-game murderers' row (thankfully with a BYE placed at possibly the perfect time). Of course, this also means that we'll know everything we need to know about the 2018 BC team in the first 6 weeks. 6-0 should be the expectation. 5-1 and we can expect another boring 6-7 win season. 4-2 and hopefully Daz gets fired.

9/1 - UMass - W
9/8 - Holy Cross - W
9/13 - @ Wake - W
9/22 - @ Purdue - W
9/29 - Temple - W
10/6 - @ NCST - W
10/13 - Louisville - L
10/20 - BYE
10/26 - Miami - W
11/3 - @ VT - W
11/10 - Clemson - L
11/17 - @ FSU - L
11/24 - Syracuse - W

9-3 (5-3)

We'll be up 40 at half time but Daz will find some excuse to keep playing both Brown and Dillon. My money is on a Brown shoulder injury and a Dillon concussion.

Daz doesn't know how to play backups. Certainly he doesn't know how to meaningfully play backups.

The home schedule is fine both in terms of excitement and challenge. Not sure why some are complaining. When there are 7 home games and the majority of P5 schools start their year with a home cupcake, odds are BC is going to have a crappy home game on Labor Day weekend.

I checked FSU's schedule to compare (haven't bothered to look at others yet) and I wouldn't say it's any better. They have three good home games (VT, Clemson, and Florida) and one of those is on Labor Day. I don't think FSU fans would consider BC an "exciting" opponent.

FSU's home schedule:
VT (Labor Day)
Samford
No. Illinois
Wake Forest
Clemson
BC
Florida

BC fans would rather sit in front of a keyboard and complain instead of attending the actual games.

I'm sticking with 6-6 and bucket full of excuses. That Purdue game on the road is screaming for a classic Addazio meltdown at the end of the game.

brohm versus addazio will certainly be interesting. one of the more up and coming offensive minds versus crack the rock caveman
