Dear Superfans:

Thanks for your great support this past weekend beginning with the Athletics 101 pep
rally for the freshmen class to our home opener against Northeastern! Your enthusiasm
provided the edge and propelled us to another big win at Alumni Stadium.

This week we will face Kent State from the Mid-American Conference. They are a
talented football team and we need your help. Alumni Stadium and Boston College fans
were recently rated one of the most hostile environments in the ACC – let’s give Kent
State a taste of all we have to offer!

Plan to greet the team at the “Eagle Walk” at 12 noon on Saturday. This week the band
and cheerleaders will lead the team on a new route through the Mod Parking Lot, through
the Mod apartments, past Walsh and Edmonds Halls and then to Gate E of the stadium.

Arrive early and get the crowd going for our 2:00 pm kickoff against the Golden Flashes.
Be loud, be proud and remember – We are BC!

If you arrive on Shea in a vehicle, true, because your ticket won't be punched. But if you walk onto Shea to meet your tailgate, you are out of luck unless you wait until after the walk to get onto the field. I can understand the reasoning behind some of the tailgating rules, but the ticket punching makes no sense.
