now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun
good god we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and then we'll take it higher

I hate agreeing with anyone, it means I didnt say it first and I hate myself for not being quicker. I loathe my lack of initiative now.

This. Raji's senior season was non-stop dominance. Best thing that ever happened to him was being suspended his junior season. Looked like he spent the entire year getting stronger, faster...and fatter. He was a man among boys that year, well before the senior bowl.

fuck you. this is why you are in the running for worst poster. with raji on that team the year prior, i'd say we beat fsu in a monsoon and maryland in a post-monsoon let down game. i'd even say that we beat vpi in the acc conference game and win the championship of the universe.

I hate agreeing with TRE but he hit the nail on the head. Who knows, with Raji there maybe the defense doesnt have as many injuries and we are playing for a NC.

And it was purely because some fucktard academic advisor misread his transcript and didn't have him take enough courses over the summer. 100% preventable.

I'm absolutely convinced that if he plays that year we make the national title game vs OSU and have a decent shot to win. Remember how dominant the 2008 defense was even after Silva, Tribble, Dunbar, Pruitt, and Larkin graduated? That was because Raji came back. He plays in 2007 and we've got a much better version of the 2008 defense paired with the 2007 offense. That's as good a team as any in the country.

BC could not put the ball in the endzone against VPI in the ACCCG, that is what cost us the game. It should have been over at halftime.

Is there going to be a BC tailgate event at Yankee Stadium that will be open (for a fee, of course) to BC fans who bought tickets but no other part of the offered package (hotels, flights, whatever)? I never saw an advert for such. Maybe I'm blacklisted for past railing against Addazio and Leahy and for suspending my annual contribution in protest?

I was there and there was a good crowd. The bar was flooded with Ped State fans so having a dedicated BC section was nice.

My only issue was there wasn't enough food and they gave you a bracelet that had little tabs on it and every time you got a drink they took a tab. I think it was capped at five.

Probably won't do it again this year and try me luck at Billy's or Stan's. Can't imagine many Iowa fans will be flooding the place.

Our first play on offense should not be Dillon or Hilliman into the line (for less than two yards). Think of something else. Put Iowa on notice that they can't sell out to stop us by putting nine in the box. Send Dillon in motion to give the defense something to think about. Play action pass. Quarterback run. Something else. Anything else. There will be plenty of time to run Dillon up the middle or off tackle. If Iowa has come to play, it's going to be difficult to overpower them. We'll need some success passing and finesse to loosen up their defense.

When we played Michigan State in Orlando, they didn't have a great won-lost record, but they'd lost a bunch of games by just a few points. Like Iowa this year. We were very lucky to beat MSU. Thanks only to Jamie Silva and Matt Ryan.

BC has been using play action on first down for the past 6 games and on the first play of the game.

Play-action reverse so Jeff Smith can throw it to Kobay White again, a la the FSU game. Like a Rickey Henderson lead-off HR from yesteryear.

Meatbaum tweeted it. There were no other details.

He must have broken his ankle. There is no other explanation for why he has missed so much time. Even a high ankle sprain should have healed by now.

Only thing I have seen regarding his injury. He was wearing a walking boot for the last 4 games.

You all are fuck-tarded.

I never said Raji missing '07 was good for BC. I said it was the best thing that ever happened to Raji himself. And I stand by that. Raji went from a very good DT to a 1st Round pick the year he sat on the sidelines. If he plays in '07 he's not as big, fast and dominant as he was in '08. He probably doesn't go first round.

With that said, as a BC fan do I wish Raji had played in '07? Of course. But you're dreaming if you think Raji in '07 wins us the championship. You're imagining '08 Raji on the '07 team, and that's not what we would've gotten. Raji '06 and Raji '08 were two different animals. And that doesn't happen without the suspension.

Maybe you can keep your airline blanket from Platinum Status?

If not, nospace's tinfoil beanie could be turned inward and used like a space blanket - you'd have to soothe his fear of chemtrails with a sixpack of St Ives, though.
