Seems like another excellent start to recruiting.

The staff does a very good job identifying kids early. These kids all are right in line with our better classes. What seems to be the difference for Daz recruiting is how many of these early-identified recruits he is able to land. From there, he tends to move to camp offers (who generally have little interest) and then he closes out with diamonds-in-the-rough types. His better classes have more of the first category than the third.

Jalen Williams, safety from Maryland with offers from BC, Kentucky, UNC, Rutgers, WVU is set to announce at 6:00 pm.

Visited this past weekend and 247 is listing BC as favorite

Committed, another solid, early pickup

so this means we are no longer 13th or worse in recruiting this yr in the ACC? that'd be nice.

Watson's kid is announcing May 1 between Notre Dame and Texas. BC not happening for a lot of reasons.

It doesn't matter who we land. Recruiting rankings are exclusively tied to the number of subscribers to recruiting services each school has. Dillon was a near 5-star player before de-tiering because he de-committed from Harbaugh to go to BC.

This. If you think BC has the worst recruiting class annually but wins 3-4 conference games and regularly puts players in the NFL because of coaching alone, Ive got a contract extension to sell you.

I don't believe it means much more than that we are recruiting Jeramy Passmore. Either that, or Eppy created a jazzed-up placard that he hopes will influence play-calling.

Art and design aren't my strong points so I can't take credit here.

A lot of reasons? Issues with Pops and BC?

How can anyone have issues (as opposed to Issues) with Pops-on-the-Heights?

It seems to me that the biggest issue for BC is that his kid is good enough to choose between Texas and Notre Dame.

You have to at some point wonder if there was a rape fairy that used to haunt campus dorms in the 70's and 80's because nobody's kids are picking BC. At least with basketball for sure, although the Bosas also come to mind for football

Maybe you should have limited your rape fairy theory to sons of former players with other offers (see Lubischer, Stephen).

I know you’re a virgin that’s never kissed a girl, but if you were able to adopt kids, would you send them to play for either one of these dick bags?

BC isn't going to typically land kids with offers from Ohio St, Notre Dame and Texas.

That's not it. I know I am teasing and being vague but I can't write about it. Watson loves BC (his wife played for Cathy Iglese at BC). JR isn't coming to BC. Watson just took a new job as a scout/camp director/recruiter for Under Armour so I am sure he will be very proactive (as legally possible) in encouraging kids to BC.

I wonder if Ateagle's reluctance is hiding an academic issue here. Which, if true, would back up suggestions that ND is more than willing to bend their standards when it suits their purposes.

Dicosmo is still a strong possibility. Anthony also loves BC and is active in the football and regular alumni network. Watson's issue is not grades. I think he will go to Texas anyway so we will probably never have to face him.

Not in his final 5. Daz cannot be expected to compete for legacies from a Catholic school in NJ.

Especially not one coached by the co-Defensive Coordinator's brother.
