Smith 50/50 on BC/FSU and “doesn’t know where I’m going right now”.

Ezeriah Anderson has apparently committed to Iowa State. BC was thought to be in good shape, he just took his visit to ISU which originally wasn’t even on his “final list” of 6

Ham was just upgraded to 4-stars by 247. Wasn't he a 2-star kid who only had interest from the MAC before us?

If somebody were to sit down and do the analysis, I bet signing day flips amongst p5 teams are a great predictor of coach firings

Keeping a coach because of a good recruiting class never works.

Looks like Maurice Smith will be gone soon too. Commits taking OVs to other schools right before signing day is the kiss of death for BC. :gun

I don’t see the allure of playing for Colorado whatsoever.

P.s. even without ham, this is arguably still Daz’s strongest class. Wish we could still add either 1) a difference maker or 2) a couple DEs for depth

I like Greico more anyway. Smith would be a bigger loss then Ham.

I’m going to look at the bright side of this. It means the staff is identifying quality players that people want even though It’s disappointing to lose him to a shit school like Colorado. It beats the alternative of the Spaz era when the only people that wanted our players was basically FCS schools.

When your “mission statement” never mentions winning the ACC, why would any top recruits want to come to BC. It would be like JY never listing winning the NC as a goal. Whether it’s realistic at most schools is moot, kids want to hear that the goal is to make the playoffs, not just get ranked.

Besides Pie Charts, don't we have a good track record of dooming late recruiting season flippers? We will have to track Ham and Smith as they get buried on their benches and end up 5 or 6 years from now with worthless degrees from shit schools.

Smith hasn't flipped yet? I'm really hoping we can hold onto him.

p.s. Is Pie Charts still playing in the National (Gay Flag) Football League?

Ham was upgraded to 4-star by 247 several months ago after he put up insane numbers at a Nike combine they witnessed.

They bumped Ham to 4 stars a few months ago after some camp. The Eichenberg bump was right after tOSU offered--that one was obvious.

Maurice Smith: ""It's the right fit for me," Smith told Noles247.com on Monday evening. "I fit their offense."

"He's a good person. He has a mindset that we're going to [the playoffs] next year. He has confidence in me," Smith said. "Coach Telly and Frey had confidence in me since day one."

Taggart is a career 52-57 coach. They have zero chance at the playoffs.

The schools are so different, you cant even compare the two. How many kids did BC recruit that got minimal interest that are now in the NFL. Also, outside of football, if you want to work on Wall Street, there is no comparison. eg Goldman wont even look at a Col resume.

don't really get ham not coming to BC. no eichenberg, he was the stud lber of this class at a school with a pretty good LB tradition.
I guess we have some good young lbers on the team but don't get it.
