He'll put on 15 pounds in his first summer on campus with any reasonable S&C and nutritional programs.

Wasn't Hamp Cheevers listed at 145lbs his FR year?

Yeah, something close to it. Staff is doing a good job getting these kids to fill out some. That said, anyone know how good the NYC PSAL is? I remember that there was SI player during the TOB era.

Paul Anderson is from SI and played for Poly Prep. :ace

He did. I think someone above mentioned Dominic LeGrande.

Dominick LeGrande was a Jags recruit out of the PSAL. Never played for TOB. :ace

It doesn't matter who we land. Recruiting rankings are exclusively tied to the number of subscribers to recruiting services each school has. Dillon was a near 5-star player before de-tiering because he de-committed from Harbaugh to go to BC.

This. If you think BC has the worst recruiting class annually but wins 3-4 conference games and regularly puts players in the NFL because of coaching alone, Ive got a contract extension to sell you.

Speaking of contracts... Venables is signing for 5 years/$11.6mm. Dave Aranda is making $2.5mm per year in salary. Keep all this in mind when thinking about BC's potential replacements for Dazoo. NO.EFFING.WAY. is BC paying big money for a head coach (let alone an assistant). So, our next head coach will likely not be a million-dollar coordinator from a major program. But, more likely a low-level/mid-major coach with major program assistant experience... pretty much a similar resume as that of Daz when he was hired (not that there is anything wrong with that).

I believe that one of your coaches was down here in New Orleans this spring at my old high school checking out some of the talent. As you know (or should know) Louisiana is a football hotbed, and grabbing a kid or two from down here could help you guys out. My former high school is sending two commits this fall up their, one RB to Stonehill and a WR is coming to Harvard. Both of these kids are really good on the field and in the classroom. Hopefully your coaches can make some in-roads with the high schools down here and start bringing some of this talent up to the Northeast.

This is the first recruiting cycle were BC has had virtually no reaches, kudos to Daz. Even BC's fall back options have multiple P5 offers, quite a change from stealing from MAC programs only a two years ago.

There are 17 scholarship players on the roster playing there last year of eligibility and I am pretty sure we are at our max of 85. We currently have 15 verbals. I would like to see a TE and a 2nd RB in this class.

We can take at least 20.

Very good class so far, but, given how quiet recruiting normally is during the season under addazio, i’d feel better if we had a few more commits in the bag at this point. Would be a shame if this class filled out in December with some under the radar recruits and we end up just where we’ve been.

Think it was just the 2, Sparacio and either DeNucci or DePalma (I can't tell them apart).

Damn. That’s 15, right. Incredibly solid class. They really seem to still be working offer their A-list. Congrats to Dazoo and the staff.

Just looking at the positional make up of the class, I’d expect at least 1 more OL and a TE. They could also use another WR, DB and DL (but, DT/OL, TE/DE and WR/DB can be cross-over positions). Basically, we are done at QB, RB and LB and have very limited space as it relates to the other positions.

I think it's 16, for some reason tos hasn't added Maurice Smith to the commit list even though he verbaled two weeks ago.

Looks like 2 writers on 247 (not the ones associated with the BC site) are projecting Zay Flowers to BC.

5'11/165lb WR from University School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Offers from K-State, NCSU, Kentucky, Maryland, UNC, Pitt, Purdue and Cuse (as well as some other smaller schools).
