Rumors flying around the other board that 4-star Tommy Eichenberg (https://247sports.com/Player/Tommy-Eichenberg-46050859) and 3-star Prince Elijah Degroat (https://247sports.com/Player/Prince-Eli ... t-46045426) are committing.
Also... 4-star Patrick Garwo is doing the hat thing right now: http://www.wbcbsports.com/high-school-s ... -06-27-18/

If you add those those three to our current class, it would be an incredible 15-person class.

Wouldn't it be OUTSTANDING if (for once) Addazio didn't recruit the dead-last rated class in the ACC?

I actually wouldn't give a shit, because I think the results show that BC's classes are not actually dead last. The people doing the ratings suck at their "jobs". Two drafted BC corners dragged down BC's class from 4 years ago for example.

Either BC's classes dont' actually suck or Addazio is the best developer of talent in the ACC. I'll let you choose which is more likely.

There may be more than just two possible answers to that question.

Look, I know you don't give a shit but I do care. I want BC's recruits to be the most talented. I would love it if (all of a sudden) Addazio turned into even a mediocre ACC-level recruiter. I'm not looking for "good", I'm just looking for "average" ACC class. That just hasn't happened (yet.) This class looks great, wonderful even compared to what we are used to getting. Lets wait and see how it stacks up against what the rest of the conference can do, see if its even "average."

What will be your yardstick for this? The class' ranking or what the players do on the field?

Yeah, something close to it. Staff is doing a good job getting these kids to fill out some. That said, anyone know how good the NYC PSAL is? I remember that there was SI player during the TOB era.

I choose option 3: The classes don't suck, Daz and his coaching staff are good at developing that talent, but he still is not a good game day coach.

Would be nice to recruit a halfway decent offensive play book.

EDIT: Eichenberg committed.

140-ish is pretty effing light. But, speed is more important. The key is for a kid like Smoke to add 15-20 lbs of muscle while maintaining his speed. It's difficult to do. However, I hope he waits until college (where a professional S&C coach will be able to accomplish this).

As for PSAL... it blows. However, occasionally decent players come out of there. I think Dom Legrande was from Staten Island. Wasn't also a recent RB recruit who only lasted a year on campus?

EDIT: I was thinking of Jordan Gowins who was from Long Island... not Staten.

Damn. Eichenberg and Garwo on the same day is a MASSIVE haul for Daz. Kudos to the staff. One thing I really like about this class is that resolidifies critical areas QB, RB, MLB all fit the current mold established under Daz.

How many schollies are we offering for this particular class and what types of players are we still in the hunt for?

kudos to daz, this is some impressive haul. interesting they're back in ohio again this class. 3 commits after only 2 in the previous 3 classes.

doing some quick math with 25gerald's scholarship chart, this is going to be a big class. 18 now seniors + 2 seniors that got an extra year (strahan & baker) + any other natural attrition

You should take more time on your math. There are 17 5th/4th year guys on the roster. The roster is currently full with 85 guys on scholarship (unless Fish does not have one). Who knows how many guys will eave or not be invited back for a 5th year. So, at a minimum, we have 17/18 spots for this class.
