Atleast 5 OVs this weekend from what I’ve seen and heard. Couple commits coming on unofficials to help recruit.

Only one persion is complaining about 4-stars. I think this class is great and am just hoping for more of the same.

Flier season has usually started by now

I was referring to Daz’s usual push late in the recruiting cycle to sign huge slow kids from New Hampshire or whatever

Better to do that than bank scholarships. Every so often you get a Jamie Silva-esque player with that strategy.

Daz’s recruiting has been very good contrary to whatever boxscore is saying about him.
He’s not good at in-game coaching but I’m hoping we eventually recruit enough talent that we can overcome it. See Clemson under Dabo.
I think he genuinely loves BC (although he seems to be a real life dick and I admit his act gets tiresome when we lose) so I will give him the benefit of the doubt as long as BC is moving forward and not backwards.

Tom O'Brien recruited enough talent to overcome his in-game coaching deficency. Addazio will never ever be able to recruit anything even remotely close to what Clemson sees with Dabo.

Dabo has improved as a game coach. The NCST game last year tells me Daz has not.

but only because the cost of handing them out is an accounting fiction, right?

That and because no player is never better than a player. Never saw no player make a tackle.

Not a 2019, but BC just offered Parker McQuarie who also recently received an offer from Michigan. 2020 QB from NH with obvious BC connection

Wish we had signed Kwity Paye last year. Would have helped here immensely.

I’m not sure what else BC could’ve done on the Kwity Paye thing last year. Same deal with both those Gallagher kids from MA

Daz was sold as a great recruiter; I have not seen it. He has not closed once.

How are you defining close?

Truss' top 5: Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia & PED State. Daz cannot be expected to compete for OLs from Rhode Island

RI HS football is garbage... it's makes MA football look like FL football.
As a native Rhode Islander who has watched a lot of local football, I think there's a lot of risk here. Kid had one good camp against some BAMA prospects and suddenly he was a huge deal. But how much experience against actual competition? That's the best way to evaluate someone.

Truss committed to Georgia over the weekend.

A RI kid in Georgia makes little sense. It’s a completely different culture. As we have seen in the past, oftentimes it does not work out and the kid transfers.

It is pretty clear that he wanted to go to a factory. Where would you go? Georgia would actually be my first choice.

Sam Johnson was also on campus hopefully he had some good pitches to the 2 big time rbs and that 6-4 WR red zone threat that we are missing on this team.

Love that his nickname is "Smoke". I don't like that he is 148 pounds.

much of his film is from the secondary and he certainly seems like a willing tackler despite his size, but at 150 I have to imagine his future is a slot / scat back type player no?

based on twitter, it seems like it's been leaked he's committing to bc

according to 247's ranking he'd replace sam johnson as highest rated recruit in class and be the 2nd highest since the '11 class (finn dirstine last year was slightly higher)
