was it true that Coughlin wouldn't let players live in the mods or did I hear that wrong?

TC rule as well. It lapsed with Henning. There were 3 players in the mods 1994-1995.

The stripper party might have been interesting, but the portion of the dudes sitting around drinking shots in a tiny BC dorm was possibly the most boring video I've ever seen. I saw plenty of nights like that, but no one ever thought it was worth recording.

TC also had a rule against going to MAs (as well as living in the Mods). Uncle Dan relaxed them when he took over.

I thought part of the reason for the Mod Ban was because two groups of football players blocked next to each other and tore down (i.e. ran through in helmets and pads) the adjoining wall.

I believe that was a Bick-era happening.

This happened in my mod, the mod next door, and the other mod a few steps away - and none of those people were football players (although there was a girl from Pennsylvania who could crush beer cans with her bewbs). Do people no longer tunnel through mod walls?

We broke into our basement and it led to under the mod next door. We weren't friends with those people though, so it was more a place to smoke weed without worrying about the smoke.

Hey it got BC discussed on Toucher and Rich this morning, so the football program had a brief moment of relevance on the Boston sports scene.

It looked like Marcus Bembry was the one passed out in the bathroom. I do think Damien showed up briefly. All that said... the book came out about a year ago and no one bought it.

Tough to miss Q-dawg. "Fly me to the moon, mannnnnnnn!!"

Football players were allowed in MA's under TOB. In fact, many worked there.

I saw Kiwanuka at MA's once, visiting school one weekend. He was with a couple of other FB players, they slowly walked around the U shaped bar, i guess, with Kiwi's fishing line out. i'd assume there would be some takers.

Football players at MA's was an unusual thing? During the Bicknell era, those guys lived there. Pretty sure Chmura and Ivan Caeser were both on the payroll.

Players at MAs was a usual thing. But for 3 years under Coughlin, it was a team violation punishable through the early morning exercise program.
