If you miss the first one, you still have the chance to go for it the next two times. So you give yourself two ways to get the additional point: by going 1 for 1 or 2 for 3. Again, this assumes that the offense is capable of scoring three TDs, so it's purely a hypothetical.

They got lit up by every team with even a semblance of a pulse last year & now even middling teams like Wake and this Notre Dame team are tearing us apart. It was great for one year, Brown left and now it's trash. Combine it with Addazio's bullshit offense and you've got one of the worst P5 teams in the country, on par with Kansas and Baylor.

That Kansas-BC home/home in a few years will be a true clash of the titans.
