I am high on ND offensive coordinator. He's 35 and I think he could win here quickly. ND was utilizing a lot of 12 formations last night which would take advantage of our existing TEs on the roster.

He led Memphis to No 16 rank in offensive output in his first year there and ND is averaging 454 yds/game and 4+ TDs per game. I guess he would be a bit of a risk since he has never been a head coach but it could be better than a retread.

It is a better version of Jags if they land both Kingsbury and Chizik. He gets to be a figurehead who recruits, does the rubber chicken circuit and deals with the media. Gene and Kliff run the team. They will both get bank and be in position to make a play for the head job in 4 years.

Didn't realize those are his coordinators - that's actually a decent situation. Also isn't Kingsbury 39 or so? Plenty of time for him to take a job like this, operate in new territory and with a new league, experiment a bit, take some risks, etc., and ramp back up for an HC job in a few years. That's a better story than, say, the Lane Kiffin archetype.
