how to look the other way when an employee is repeatedly beating the shit out of their significant other.

meyer did have the heinz hammer as his offensive coordinator so he clearly understands how to assess football coaching abilities.

by the way, i think it was more mo'j than me that repeatedly said day sucked as a coach. i think my only comments about day revolve around him looking like a retarded asianed person

He also knows bags of cash. Fuck Cheating Meyer and the guy that developed Chase Rettig

3-31 record as a head coach, with a couple of issues at New Mexico.

Athletic Directors are the most overpaid and incompetent people in sports. This is just another prime example.

Pete Thamel's list of college coaches possibly making the jump this year to the NFL.

This is the deadest coaching year I can remember. Wonder if things average-out by guys jumping creating a trickle-down poaching effect.

Not terrible considering some of the other names that were floated for this job. Gatech alums I spoke with seem cautiously optimistic.

Much better than Whisenhunt. I thought that Satterfield or Norvell might have been an easier transition, but you might as well rip the band aid off if that's what you want to do.

Camp mentioned as a possibility for the new temple role (and then a blatant troll job of corners)

https://theathletic.com/701095/2018/12/ ... -football/

If Temple goes young, Alabama co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Josh Gattis is 34 years old and is rising quickly in coaching circles. Boston College co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Anthony Campanile is 36 and similarly moving up. He was a New Jersey high school assistant as recently as 2011. On the other end of the age spectrum, would 63-year-old Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown be interested? He’s in a great spot right now, but if he wants to take another swing at a head coaching job, he has deep East Coast experience. Elsewhere in the SEC, Mississippi State defensive coordinator Bob Shoop has spent most of his career in the Northeast and was the head coach at Columbia. He directed one of the best defenses in the country this season.

Was that the all BC edition? Brown, Shoop and Camp have all had successful stints at the Heights.

Let Reid retire, promote Camp, bring in Blackmon to coach DBs. He tweeted about how he wanted to start coaching the other day.

BC should make a MLB move with Daz. Trade him to Temple with BC paying 2.5 million of his Temple salary. That 2.5 million will go further at Temple and Daz can get a 5 year contract. Throw in a road game and that should seal the deal.

Go Eagles!

Who would you rather have for a head coach: Seven Win Steve or Third Down Brown?

Temple has a good thing going being a stepping stone job. Don't know if it makes sense to hire Brown who is 63 and has already been a head coach.

Very rarely is a program willing to be a permanent stepping stone. My guess is that their interest in Third Down is to get someone who is unlikely to leave for another gig (because of his advanced age).
