Who the hell is coming up with this fake timeline? BC is going to rightfully interview multiple folks (including alums and minorities). They are going to make a deliberate, concerted hire that will have to go through Leahy and the BOT. At no point, should BC rush this process. They are the only job open and even if kids go into the portal over the next 30 days, they can't go anywhere for quite a while.

Apparently the Syracuse AD came out and said Mullen was never a canddiate there, so maybe it's true. you make good money as a commentator on TV and barely have to work.

We've been through this how many times? BC doesn't say anything to anyone. They are a locked vault of information. The only folks who talk are agents... and if an agent talks to the media, you know that their client isn't involved. There has never been a search where we knew who was truly interested and who the choice would be. We can speculate as to what we want and what makes sense... but, we aren't involved in the process.

Even if we have a coach BC wouldn’t announce immediately probably in part to allow the new coach to let his former employer and team know before the news breaks. With Hafley the process took a while to the point we thought something fell through and then we got the white smoke tweet from Jarmond and I think the public announcement the next day. BC won’t wait that long given where we are in the year. I hope it’s BoB but whoever it is, I expect a hire either has been made or will early in the week and we’ll get the official announcement by Friday at the absolute latest.
