Not sure if this name has come up in the past:

Matt Burke, Defensive Coordinator Miami Dolphins

Bridgton Academy (1998–1999)
Assistant coach
Boston College (2000–2002)
Graduate assistant
Harvard (2003)
Assistant coach
Tennessee Titans (2004–2005)
Administrative assistant
Tennessee Titans (2006–2008)
Defense quality control coach
Detroit Lions (2009–2013)
Linebackers coach
Cincinnati Bengals (2014–2015)
Linebackers coach
Miami Dolphins (2016)
Linebackers coach
Miami Dolphins (2017–present)
Defensive coordinator

Hudson, MA
Valedictorian of Class of 1994
Dartmouth College, BA
Boston College, MA

I assume he is Irish with a name like Burke and from Hudson

Notable: Played Dartmouth football as a walk-on safety; hired away from Harvard by Tennessee Titans at age 28; named Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator in January 2017; has traveled extensively on adventure trips, most recently in Uganda to see gorillas (click here to view a slideshow of Burke’s adventure photos)
Career: Linebacker coach, Dolphins, 2016, Cincinnati Bengals, 2014-15, Detroit Lions, 2009-13; Tennessee Titans defense quality control coach, 2006-08; Titans administrative assistant, 2004-06; Harvard assistant coach, 2003; Boston College graduate assistant coach, 2000-02; Bridgton Academy assistant coach, 1998-99
Education: A.B., psychology; M.A., education, Boston College, 2002
Personal: Single; lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Red Flag!!!! Not married!

Marriage is an important part of getting ahead: lets people know you're not gay; married guy seems more stable; people see the ring, they think at least somebody can stand the son of a bitch; ladies see the ring, they know immediately you must have some cash or your cock must work.

That is a really interesting prospect. Agree about the marriage thing too. If I thought there was any chance of there being a BC opening within 12 months, I would research whether a girlfriend is ever mentioned.

Can we just hire Don Brown now. He is the best coach we can get since TC. This is not a difficult decision!!!

bruce feldman with the first hint that daz may not be back:

Ohio State offensive coordinator Ryan Day impressed in his time stepping in for Urban Meyer. Folks really like his temperament and how he connects with players. Despite a shaky O-line, his offense still ranks No. 2 in the nation in total offense. A Chip Kelly protégé, the 39-year-old Day also could be a strong candidate if Boston College comes open.

I thought Ryan Day was the coach in waiting at tOSU? Urban’s assistant coaches have not made good head coaches.

I'd cheer for ND if this fucking disaster happened...but it wont. No way Jarmond ties his future to that loser.

Logan just took a new job as the OC with the AAFL Birmingham team. Dave Magazu is the OL coach. Perfect for guys like that. Good pay checks and no recruiting.

I don't know of any Feldman ties to Jarmond, so he may be just spitballing on the Daz stuff. It was always thought that Siravo gave Feldman the "Spaz crossed a line" info from the fight at Central Florida. Doubt Siravo has any good insight into Daz-Jarmond.

While there were many sins of GDF, the one I will never forgive is his not going forward with the initial plan of hiring Logan to replace Jags (as scrolled on ESPN during the BC victory of Duke).

Here's the latest with him: https://www.wralsportsfan.com/steve-log ... /17906356/

Weird to me that Feldman would be spitballing about Daz's future without any rumblings when every national writer has been ballwashing him all season. At the same time, I doubt anything has been floated. Probably just the idea that Jarmond is going to want to bring in his own guys at some point.

What? When was this?
Brown and Day are probably the 2 hottest coordinators in the country right now.

Just amazing the lengths that Coach Flip went to promote Spaz. I'm glad it cost him his job and legacy. That said, Whipple hasn't exactly distinguished himself.

When Whipple interviewed after TOB, he presented his proposed staff and GDF shotdown Brown. Keeping Spaz wasn't a mandate, but the guy who played ball got the job. Clearly GDF just wanted a puppet and that's why both Jags and Spaz's staffs were filled with GDF hires.

Serious question, why the hatred for the guy? Is he just an empty laminated resume?

I don't really have an opinion. On the one hand, I want Adazzio to fuck off outta hear, but on the other hand, Ryan Day would be a meh hire.
