He's different than Lowry because he was decent at a P5 level. I'm reasonably confident in Lazard, Baker and Lindstrom. They're all well above average. The rest of the crew makes me nervous. Monterio had some really good and some really bad games. Elijah Johnson was very good at guard but I doubt he'll be ready.

Did Philips play at all (non garbage time) last season?

They tried him along with a few others at guard I believe before Elijah Johnson was the solution. He also played in garbage time you are correct.

The buzz player at BC practice is 247-pound freshman TB AJ Dillon. Veteran TB Jon Hilliman also popped. New dad @HAROLDLANDRY2 still a star.

sully brings up a good point on RB depth, we'll see if the struggles last year were hilliman not getting back from injury or the OL, or the predictable play calling (it was probably all)

I think they started Bletzer at that spot in the spring game.

Overally, lots of quick tempo with multiple sets. RBs split out wide, TEs and WRs in the backfield... Looks very different on O. Will come down to OLine play and QB play but we are deep, fast, and looking good at other positions.

DL - Ray Smith will be in the middle, with Zach Allen (though he is outside at times) and Merritt third man in.
DEs - Wyatt Ray and Harold Landry might be best duo in a deep ACC. In fact, starting 4 D lineman might be better than '12-'13 TB Bucs.
Other projections look about right, no one really standing out too much. Yiadom and Lucas Dennis are best of the backfield.

D is usually so far ahead of the O at this point, but not looking that way this year. Not sure if that is good news (O has improved), bad news (D is dropping off this year) or, more likely, a bit of both. Fun time of year (undefeated season right now!).

He deserves credit for rehabilitating the roster. Of course, I fully expect him to mismanage the hell out of this thing. But, kudos for establishing a team that you can legitimately feel optimistic about.
