I think the back end talent is weak, but the front end talent would look a lot better had there been a QB the past 2 seasons. There's plenty of speed and ability with the first string guys if someone can get them the ball and the Sarge lets them do so.

Just looking at the schedule, I see that we play FSU under the lights on Friday night, Oct 27th and then the Imagine Dragons play at the TD Sunday Oct 29th. Might be a fun trip for us if tiger man can miss his home game against GTECH. We just sent in a check for 2 Clemson season tickets this year. I WANT BC SEASON TIX.

I'm the first person to be critical of this group, but Walker, Smith, White, Glines and Callinan all should be fine. The problem is the staff misuses them.

No WRs are ever going to look good when every first and second down is a run for somewhere between 2 and -2 yards and every third down is an obvious passing down which involves the quarterback being under pressure within 2 seconds of getting the snap

Can Terry Jr be a walk-on? I think there are pretty strict rules about employee kids. They need to be on scholarship so that you can't hide them on some sort of staff plan. Think about Louie. TOB's son had to be a manager instead of a walk-on.

Wade is listed as a Graduate student, presumably because he graduated in 3 years and is now enrolled in a grad school. doesn't he have 2 years of eligiblity left though? He should be a RS JR.

I think he knows that he is on the clock and that lowering expectations doesn't necessarily help his cause. Bates was literally afraid of him. I don't think the same holds true for Jarmond.

I thought Daz gave the most honest assessment of the team he's given since arriving at BC.

I also agree that old habits die hard and Daz's plans to open up the offense more will fall by the wayside the moment this team gets behind.

Daz abandoned that up tempo offense literally the instant things stopped going their way against Maryland in the bowl game. Had it not been for Landry, they absolutely would have completed that collapse.

The same will hold true this season. The moment NIU scores after a quick 3 and out for the BC offense in the opener, we'll never see it again.

He's different than Lowry because he was decent at a P5 level. I'm reasonably confident in Lazard, Baker and Lindstrom. They're all well above average. The rest of the crew makes me nervous. Monterio had some really good and some really bad games. Elijah Johnson was very good at guard but I doubt he'll be ready.

What I saw out of everyone else looked pretty bad (Schmal and Phillips in particular).

Did Philips play at all (non garbage time) last season?
