Spackenkill is like class D football. They play like New Paltz and Red Hook and Highland. Kid may be the next Raji, but here he is basically playing Pop Warner.

Bennermon, who will sign with Boston College on December 20th, will embark on his journey to Boston College on June 26th.

December 20th?

First year of the early signing day is this year.

Thanks. Can they all sign on the 20th?

yes, certainly will be interesting to see how this plays out in year 1 between the coaching changes and how coaches interpret players not signing on day 1

Yes. It would be a pretty big surprise if they don’t all sign early. Knowing how the staff operates they wouldn’t be happy with anybody not signing early as they’d take it as the recruit not being solid. Having said that I don’t think you’ll see those issues with this class it’s as solid of a class as you can get. Only way I could see one of the recruits not signing is if they still have work to do in the classroom and the BC coaches hold the player back until February.

I was at the game and he was a beast. Not as much with his arm, but could pick up 3 yards at will even when everyone knew he was running and when he pulled it down to run, he was getting yards in huge chunks. He was dominant in that game and looked much bigger than everyone around him. Def looked like an LB.

Coach Camp's brother outcoached SPP also. Not even close.

By my math, 4 additional guys will be leaving early to fit the current verbals.

Of that group, the obvious candidate is DiCosmo, but I have no information.

Dicosmo is a 2019. I think he’s talking about Evan Stewart who is on 2nd team (BC just can’t talk about commits until they sign which I think is what he’s getting at)

While I think that natural attrition would take care of the problem, If Wilson has an offer, I can't imagine him not signing. I will say that Baptiste is likely the focus. He's an interesting prospect. I think he is still quite raw and I think he was playing out of position as OLB. That said, it really isn't hard to see him easily becoming a dominant pass rushing DE (he's 6'5").

Yeah, he seems like the most interesting prospect of the group, the other two seem like lottery tickets.

Wilson announced he's committed to Buffalo. I think it's academic. He was orig a '17 and had to go to Milford. He could just be saving a spot in case, not sure.

It is the reason why I phrased it "If Wilson has an offer..." His offered status seemed somewhat questionable.

Yeah his offer is contingent on getting through BC admissions. He’s an ncaa qualifier it’s just a question of whether he gets through BC. If he doesn’t sigh with Buffalo in the next 3 days then it’s an obvious sign he’s holding a spot and waiting on BC. If he does sign then he didn’t make it in. Mcalister is most likely going to Vandy not really sure how hard BC ended up pushing there. Would be a pretty big surprise if Baptiste doesn’t end up an Eagle but I don’t think that’s going to happen until February.

Looks like Wilson signed with Buffalo. Got to think BC admissions said no. He would not have had a December official visit unless we wanted him.
