Corporal Funishment {l Wrote}:Given the low level of competition, he may benefit from a redshirt year. With some proper coaching though I think he could really contribute to the wide receiver unit

Coach Taters doesn't do redshirts.

Don Bosco AD and coach Mike Teel are denying this claim. Rice spoke to the team today "nothing more."

Did we ever figure out what happened with Toal at Bosco? I ran into Teel at a Rutgers Basketball game, that feels like a disastrous hire.

As I understand it, Toal was going to be extended but with a transition plan put in place (which was most likely going to involve Teel). Somewhere along the line, that plan quickly devolved into a "do you want to retire or be fired" thing. President of the school made the call. Some Trustees delivered the message. There were rumors that the new President wasn't a fan of the sometimes-difficult Toal. He probably was a Leahy fan and agreed that sports was too big of a role at the school. I also understand that Teel was on the verge of taking the head coaching job at Mahwah when this all transpired (though he wasn't using it at leverage or anything as he never thought Toal was going to be asked to leave). At the end of the day, I think it is a weak hire and one that isn't particularly good for BC as Teel loves Piscataway.

247 saying BC now leads from Hugh Davis, LB from Cathedral in Indianapolis. Article says wouldn't be surprising if he committed over weekend of 22nd / spring game when he is visiting.

That's disappointing along with the loss of Bosa's two sons, Harrington's son and in hoops Murphy's kids.

He got MVP of The Opening Cleveland regional over the weekend, this would be a tough one to lose.

Johnny Langan, high 3* QB from Bergen Catholic, has committed to BCU.

Another swing and a miss by Daz.

This is good pickup. Some versatility here as well, would have had way more offers if LB was in play. Langan is big body and obv from good comp in NJ

Not everyone who attends the Prep ends up leaving with a diploma so it just applies to the law school.

Unrelated the commit from Bergen Catholic will not be coming in as a QB? :ace

I saw Vallece in a couple televised games, seems to be pure pocket QB, didn't seem to be mobile, weak supporting team at Ford Prep which plays much lower level of competition than a place like Bergen Catholic.I always thought he'd go Ivy.

Valece was pretty sure he was going Ivy League (and he still might) but he is a classic case of being a QB camp star so 1 major school having made him an offer validated him to get offers from everyone. :ace

I watched 2 throws from that HUDL tape.

No one in the Ivy League is slinging it like that.

Yea i was gonna say this too, i was kind of surprised by his tape, he made some goods throws (not the traditional hudl tape of throwing it up in the air over bad comp).

I'm enjoying ATL's misfits describing the shift to a pass first offense with Perry (who will never play) and then this guy (who is a power spread QB). I can take a quick guess why they assume he is throw first, but eventually one of those idiots will just say it.
