If it exists, it would all be here. I'd love to see you find something because I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist. However, I believe that I was critical of Jags recruiting towards the end. That said... fuck you on the Logan comment. The man walks on water.

Lucky Logan throwing the ball up 2 TD's inside his own ten yard line on the road at GT with a QB prone to wtf int's! Love Ryan, but he threw the ball right into the hands of the GT LB, easy pick 6, but the guy drops the ball with a minute to go in the 3rd.

Daz was sold as a great recruiter. There are three factors to recruiting:

1. Evaluating the players so as to to offer, target, and recruit the right players.
I would say Daz has done well to very well here. He has significantly upgraded the talent level.

2. Closing, being able to get a kid to verbal & commit who has offer from top 20 programs.
Fail. I can't think of one example.

3. Management - you need the right numbers at each position.
Fail again. We have brought in way too many WRs and not enough at other positions but especially DT.

I bring this up today because Daz's under recruiting of the DT position has killed us the last 2 weeks.

maybe i'm whistling past the graveyard but i think there's some talent on this team. daz has his grubby heinz hands all over this offense + loeffler is terrible like every other fanbase who has had him as oc said

2014: 4 WRs (Flutie, Thad "Chad" Smith, Dixon, McClary); 2 DTs (Stevens, Merritt).
2015: 5 WRs (Jeff Smith, Walker, Glines, Borgersen, Pankey); 1 DT (Ray Smith)
2016: 2 WRs (White, McStravick); 1 DT (Korutz).

I think most agree he's done fine on evaluation. And while you said Fail, I think most (if they were viewing this objectively) would agree that he has done a good job landing the kids he's gone after. Again, talent isn't the issue with this team.

However, as you rightfully have pointed out, he has failed miserably in the over all management of recruiting. You point out his busted numbers by position. I'd point out that he hasn't recruited to match a vision. Wide body vs agile OL... drop-back vs mobile QB... big athletic vs small and quick WRs... we haven't made any preference clear. It's like he's trying to build a fantasy FB team where you only care about stats.

Ultimately, none of this should surprise. The more intellectually challenging a task, the worse our Gym Teacher performs.
