Yes, TV won't let BC be passed over even if there are enough 6-6 teams.

Yes, BC needed two more teams to lose to get in at 5-7, but will now jump over 5-7 Duke regardless (who is losing anyway) and Hawaii at 6-7. That puts us in the top 80 selections, and there are a few other teams losing too.

BC is bowling. The entire ACC Atlantic division is bowling.

I think mathematically you need two teams to lose. That said, we will be going bowling.

There will not be 80 bowl-eligible teams, and some APR teams will get in. All bowl eligible teams will be bowling.

My guess is 1-2 APR teams.

We needed two teams to lose if we were 5-7. But at 6-6, Duke and Hawaii can't get in above us, so that gets rid of the two teams we needed to lose.

I mean, semantics, but yeah we're going bowling.

By my count, there are 82 teams that could still have 6 wins although some are clearly less desirable than us in a bowl game. Not counting the 330 games where SMU is getting housed while north Texas and ole miss are losing big. I'll shut up when there are only 80 possible teams for 80 spots although the ACC bowl contractual agreements actually make it easier for us to get in over other teams.

I realize I'm being overly pedantic here.

I posted this earlier in the thread (and Im not sure how reliable it is) but I read that NC State was already offered that bowl prior to beating UNC yesterday (assuming they got to 6, they woudl get that invite ... which is a great thing for BC, its rare you can say Detroit is a better trip, but in this case it may be).

Is there any chance of New York?

I would do NYC, Annapolis (maybe) or Charlotte.

There is a 0% chance I will do Shreveport or Detroit the day after Christmas.

A more accurate representation would have the pins falling down on their own as the ball rolls by in the gutter.

Or when you barely clip the 10 pin and get a domino effect around that back that somehow knocks over a handful.

Regardless, it should show the other 6 pins still left standing, with Syracuse and GT prominently up front.

Right, because I had BC filled in already... we would have gotten the final spot assuming the 2 teams (still eligible for 6 wins) won.
I'm glad we won because 1 game goes differently and we would be on the outside looking in.

I've seen vs SCarolina in the Independence, Maryland in Detroit, or USF in St. Pete.

Shreveport may suck, but I'd prefer our guys playing an SEC team.
