ATLeagle {l Wrote}:I would be shocked if the 30 day thing is true. I believe an announcement on Bates could happen in 30 days, but there is no way they have an outsider on board within 30 days. Hell, they lose nearly a whole week during this period and also effectively shutdown at Christmas. If they have a new AD on in 30 days, that means it is Hegarty or Gallup and both would be bad news (Hegarty less bad, but still bad).

Or the culture is actually changing, the BOT has been doing this very quietly, and, as Eagles28 on EA has said, we will be bringing in an impressive name.

Perhaps they did form a sub-committee of trustees who are going to meet, but none of the trustees seem to know exactly when Leahy is retiring. I doubt the BOT is involved in whether or not Bates or Adazzio are going to be replaced. That would signal the makings of a new management structure, which would be terrific!

So there's definitely a new AD approved by the BOT and an announcement coming after the bowl loss?

Or are they just announcing Bates has been extended which will make even more people stop watching BC sports.

I think there are provisions in the geneva convention that would prohibit that sort of thing.
